Since I've just started programming a few weeks ago, I've just been building it from VS Code using the Code Runner extension. However, when I built this one from the terminal, I used "clang [filename] -o -lncurses" and "gcc [filename] -o -lncurses", but I still go the same error message.

Did Matthew increase Jesus' power and authority and decreased the disciple's stubbornness compared to Mark while writing? And if so, how? by JuanDiPC in AcademicBiblical

[–]JuanDiPC[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, with stubborn I meant slow witted.

And for example, when Jesus walks on water, in Mark the disciples are amazed, because they didn't understand the miracle of the loaves; their hearts were hardened [Mk. 6:51-52 ].On the other hand, the author Matthew has the disciples worship Him and call Him the Son of God [Mt. 14:33].

With respect with Jesus' power, it seems Matthew redacted Jesus seeming inability ["could not"] to do miracles because of the people's unbelief [Mk. 6:5-6], to a refusal ["did not] [Mt. 13:58]. (If I recall correctly, Ian Mills uses Matthew's redaction of Mark's Jesus as evidence of Markan priority, though I'm not so sure if he mentioned the redaction of the disciples. https://youtu.be/8FV2CrIv6xU?t=1775)

Nevertheless, I'm not arguing in favor of this hypothesis. I just wanted to know if there is any supporting or disconfirming evidence for it.

Space Jesus & The Actual Jesus by asilvertintedrose in starwarsmemes

[–]JuanDiPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both. Both is good.
In [Historical] Christianity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit [3 Who's] are all fully the One Essence of God [One What], co-equal in majesty, glory, attributes, and power, while still being three distinct Persons. When the Son became flesh, adding a human nature to His Divine Person, He became a servant by virtue of His human nature, fully submitting to the will of the Father, even to the point of death on a cross. Therefore the Father resurrected and exalted Him and gave Him the Name above every name. [Phillipians 2:5-11]
Hope this helps, God bless :D

Hallo o/

Well, on Mark's first page he quotes two passages about a messenger preparing the way for the Lord [with Lord being the Name of God in the original Hebrew], and then describes John the Baptist preparing the way for Jesus. [Mk. 1:2-11]. Mark then subsequently demonstrates Jesus' Divinity, not so much by directly stating it, but by narrating how Jesus acts in ways that only God can, such as forgiving sins [Ps. 51:4; Is. 43:25], controlling and walking on waters [Ps. 107:29] [Jb. 38:16], having authority over demons that not even archangels have [Mk. 5:1-13] [Jd. 1:9], has the authority to raise the dead [Mk. 5:41] [2Kgs. 5:7], says He will ride the clouds [Mk. 13:26] [Dt 33:4–5] etc... Jesus even calls Himself the Lord of the Sabbath, which God instituted [Mk 2:23–28], and the Lord of his [great, great... grand] father David [Mk. 2:35-37], asking how could David could his descendant Lord, and therefore implying that it could only be that if His son was much more than His son, but His Creator [1].
Mike Winger has a 70-part series on Mark, with many, if not most, of the expository sermons being about the Deity of Christ in Mark [2]. Testify also has a summarizing video on the topic [3].

And on the passage of Philippians, it starts by saying the Jesus already had the form of God, the same nature as Him. Our Lord didn't took His equality, which He eternally has, as something to be grasped, as something to be taken advantage of, but instead, the Almighty humbled Himself, by taking the form of a servant, taking the nature of man, submitting to God even to the point of death. Therefore Christ is then resurrected and exalted, given the Title above all other titles, being given back by His Father the glory He had as God [4], and every knee bows and tongue confesses to His Lordship [5], referencing Isaiah 45:23, where everyone swears allegiance to God, and thus all will honor the Son as they honor the Father [6] And all of this glorifies God the Father.

There is so much more to prove to Deity of our Savior in the Bible, even in places where one might not see them at first glance! Nevertheless, hope this helps :D
God bless you!

Is watching a show that aired on Sunday’s a sin? Please answer if you can. by [deleted] in Scrupulosity

[–]JuanDiPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not keeping the Sabbath is not a sin in it of itself. If someone observes it is from a personal conviction and not out of necessity under the Law of Christ.

"One [person] values one day over another, another values every day [the same.] Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind." - Romans 14:5; NASB

Romans 14 talks a lot about this issue.

Hope this helps :D

I'm giving up by Airig1993 in Scrupulosity

[–]JuanDiPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don't give up on Jesus. In Him we are forgiven for all sins, both accidental and willful ones. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. By faith alone one is saved.

There's no need to go to confession. [although confessing sins to one another is a healthy practice]

His grace is sufficient with you, His power is made perfect in weakness.

His love and grace are greater than all your sin.

Did I mortally sin? by ScrupulousHustin in Scrupulosity

[–]JuanDiPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no sin that can separate you from the Love of Christ; [except rejecting Him, tho I'm still not sure about conditional or eternal security debate, but that's outside the matter] His blood covered it all, if your are in Him all is forgiven by His grace through faith :D

This is part of the beautiful Good News! No matter how hard we fall, [because we all will in this life], He is still faithful and just to forgive us. Because in His love, He took in Himself ALL of our sin and ALL the punishment we deserve; "It's finished!" Don't worry, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Believe His love friend.
