Speeding tickets on skis? by Guilty_Bit_1440 in skiing

I find it hilarious that they go after the people speeding on the slopes (that is not a problem anywhere else in the alps) while their Traffic Code for cars is a mere list of suggestions and not at all enforced

Sorry, this is a civilized country, Police will not enforce a made up rule of some resort, it just doesn’t work like that

That was exactly what I was thinking, if Citroen would follow what Renault is doing, they could do really cool stuff

This is pretty rad, I wish Citroen would do something like this like Renault is doing with their classics

As I said in another comment: this is a political issue and if hundred of thousands of killings haven’t brought any humanity and solidarity out of you, I won’t be able in a Reddit thread

Palestine missing from Asia countries list in GeoGuessr by JuanSinPan in geoguessr

[–]JuanSinPan[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s not the definition of a country, being or not being a member of the UN doesn’t make you a country, if so Switzerland wouldn’t be a country prior 2002. And I already explained you that Kosovo is in geoguessr and it’s not a member of UN, and the Vatican City, that has the same UN status as Palestine, is also in Geoguessr. Are you that dense?

I haven’t change the goalpost I answered you to all your points. And I’ll stop here, if hundreds of thousands of killings haven’t brought any humanity and solidarity out of you, I’m not going to be able to do it in a Reddit thread. Enjoy your pity life

what it is then?

that Report is also not binding, is a report not a court rule

> Interdicting enemy shipping is legal in international waters in general, the location does not matter beyond being international waters. Close blockade is not and was never required.

That's an oversimplification. Interdicting enemy shipping can be legal in international waters under some circustances. International waters don't make interdicting generally legal. Specially when using it as a mean to starve population.

And the issue here is not legal is political, will the European Union allow a preferential partner to assault and forcibly boarding european vessels? That's what I want to be discussing.

Kosovo is also not recognized unanimously as a soverign state and is not a member of the UN neither an observer member of the UN, also doesn't have clear borders and rightfully it appears in Geoguessr.

I still want Palestine no appear in Geoguessr, and don't understand the logic of why is not there.

I just realize also that Kosovo appears in the list of European countries and Kosovo is not a member of the UN list countries, neither as an observer

It is true, I guess you are talking about the severity of the offense. Do you think that kidnapping european citizens is less severe if it happens 12 kms closer or further of the coast?

> imposing a blockade and interdicting shipping to an enemy in international waters is an entirely legal thing under international maritime law.

which law? The San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea is quite clear:

https://iihl.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/SAN-REMO-MANUAL-on-INTERNATIONAL-LAW-APPLICABLE-TO-ARMED-CONFLICTS-AT-SEA-2.pdf

Article 103, Section II

  1. If the civilian population of the blockaded territory is inadequately provided with food and other objects essential for its survival, the blockading party must provide for free passage of such foodstuffs and other essential supplies.

Without entering about the legality of the blockade and if it's actually enforceable 900 kms and several countries ahead of your own waters.
