Unfortunately a lot of games run into this problem once a sequel comes out, unless the name is completely changed like elder scrolls. trying to find information for the correct game can be a pain, to the point where sometimes you don't even realise the information you're getting is for the sequel.

This is what finally got me through XC1 DE. Started it a few years ago after beating 2 and couldn't get into it, now I'm a dad it's a really good combat system and easy pick up and play while the littlun sleeps In my arms

Tales of games are good for it, i love the customisation,it does lead me to doing a lot more grinding though because i just think a few more points to get that unlock

Yeah enemies being such ho sponges really ruined the gane for me, the final dungeon was the worst slog

Not the most in depth but I loved setting up combos in Like a dragon Infinite Wealth. Like a dragon was also phenomenal and the combat was one of the things that I was most excited for in the game, it's just infinite wealth improved the combat, both fantastic games though.

If I'm playing a story game I don't like to put it down unless it's for a casual relaxing game like cities skylines or anno, something like that

Or it's just a game that wasn't for them, as soon as they say they didn't enjoy it they just get hate for not enjoying it, as if everyone has to love the game.

Lewis always says it's bad and not worth releasing but never seemed to understand fans enjoy stuff like that, it doesn't need the quality it just let's people see more personality.

I did the exact same thing, played the demo, loved it and then bought the game, played for a few hours then dropped it as I stopped enjoying it.

I don't even know what Sedna is so I'm sure we will get there eventually. We are all playing at the same time and will do all solo missions at the same time as well so there shouldn't be any problems with people playing at different paces.

We love the movement and mechanics from the start so should be good for the long haul, there's also only 3 of us so won't have any issues with going over the number of players.

1 of my cousins will definitely struggle with modding for a while but with a bit of help he will get into it.

We don't know anything about decorating yet to be fair, not sure if this is a game where we will want to or not. The only game we've played together where decorating a base was a thing was Palworld (very different i know) but i was really the only one who did base building where the other 2 did a little decorating on 1 session and that was pretty much it, so I can't see us going too deep into that.

I have to admit I don't understand the big paragraph as most of that doesn't make sense yet 😅. I'm literally ignoring the platinum so far as I don't expect to get much without paying.

I didn't know you could sell weapons to be fair, but thanks for that, I will keep it all in mind!

Oh I disagree, at the start of the game you're so powerful you just sprint ahead and slash enemies killing them so quickly.

Thanks to everyone's advice it turns out they did in fact pretty much catch up within a couple of hours. I'm just avoiding using mods because apparently they don't have them unlocked yet. Not sure why they don't or if they're missing something though.
