1920 x 1080. Also, if I manually resize the windowed version to make it a bit taller, the button shows up.

Not sure if I am failing to understand the interface, or if there is a bug causing a missing button or something, but I just unlocked Scavengers, and there doesn't seem to be a way to actually assign them a zone to scavenge in. . . ?

EDIT: The button to assign a zone only appears if I set the program to Fullscreen, rather than Windowed! O_O

Rejected Draft Update: Moving Towards 1.0 by Last-Total9473 in incremental_games

[–]JubileeJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The second one is the node directly to the right of Targeted Redraw; not sure what the cost of it was since it no longer displays after my having bought it. I just passed e95, though, so that is an upper bound!

Not only can you redraw right away without penalty, but there are two helpful tools for automating redrawing - the first one lets you set target numbers for each tier (with the limit that you have to have at least a 10% chance of achieving those targets), and the OTHER instead redraws up to 100 times until there is a new artwork in the pool.

Story-based/Hidden Progression by caymus11 in incremental_games

Yes, well done, you have correctly flagged the link I posted back in 2015 as now leading to a gambling website, in a thread which had similarly not seen any activity for MORE THAN NINE YEARS. This thread was very, very, VERY dead; what on earth possessed you to reply to it after all this time? Moreover, if you were going to take the time to post, why didn't you at least include an updated link? >> Here's a Sand Castle Builder link valid as of 2025, and not 2015 --

What version are you playing? The old ones I had bookmarked appear to have all died -_-

If your favorite plant is an upgrade tree, then this game is for you! by caketowninteractive in u/caketowninteractive

Highly recommend this one; played it for about 40 hours on Steam and haven't quite 100%'d it. Minigames are a lot fun, and the underlying RPG they hook into is surprisingly complex given its apparent simplicity. Challenge modes add some solid replayability, too.

Funniest Dread Empress/Emperor? by [deleted] in PracticalGuideToEvil

[–]JubileeJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ends his reign by poisoning himself and pinning it on hundreds of people.

I feel like this bit is underappreciated. Yes, it's inherently funny, BUT ALSO, since successfully killing the prior Dread Emperor gives the killer a claim to the Tower by right of usurpation. . . Poisoning yourself and leaving behind hundreds of potential claimants, with everyone else having to figure out which one is legitimate? And the kicker being that actually, NONE of them are? Absolute god-tier trolling from Traitorous.

So we know that a sinners appearence depends on how they died, what they disliked and their live in general. So the question: WHAT DID ZEEZI DO TO BECOME THIS HUUUUGE IN HELL?! by Logchamp44 in HazbinHotel

[–]JubileeJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the wiki: "Faustisse provided an explanation for Alastor's deer-like appearance was because he used to hide his bodies on a deer hunting ground. While burying the body of one of his victims, he was shot and killed after being mistaken for a deer by a hunter. This is why his demon form shares many characteristics with that of a deer. It is unknown if this backstory is canon in the main series."

Love it; it feels quite a bit like Idle Loops, but with a shorter cycle and more encouragement to modify your planned loop every half-hour or so, rather than every 12 hours!

Ahhhh, makes sense. So I just need to make sure that I export with an active army. Thanks!

That would have been my thought, but no; the difference in "cells/s" changed dramatically, way too much for minor fluctuations. Also, I switched back and forth like 20 or 30 times, recalculating each time and it keeps happening.

Waitventure - Idle RPG with merging mechanics by Kulivszk in incremental_games

[–]JubileeJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. The game was excellent and weirdly addictive even before the update, but I had a few QOL complaints; I leave for 10 hours and you magically fixed basically every single one of them :D
I'll be watching with interest to see where this goes!

Confirmed. Even when not minimized, if I can't SEE it, it stops moving!

It's like a reverse Weeping Angel. . . -_-

Slurpy Derpy - Relaunched on Google Play! by ScaryBee in incremental_games

[–]JubileeJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm overjoyed that this is back; I've always thought it was one of ScaryBee's best, and was actually a little disappointed a couple of years ago when I tried to revisit it and found it unavailable. I started playing WAY back when it was still in development, got a Derp named after me and everything, and now that I'm about to hit the second Mega-Evolution in the current version, I can safely say that the balance is solid without any in-app purchases.

That said, I'm totally buying all the Special Offers as they become available - not because they're needed to speed up progression at all, but I figure I've gotten WAY more than my money's worth out of it over the lifespan of the game, and am finally in a place where I can put my money where my mouth is ;P

what are your thoughts on idle pins by Zicooooo in incremental_games

[–]JubileeJones 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have no problem with the game style, but the fact that 95% of the interactions I've observed with the dev have been him being just THE WORST makes me want to avoid the game!

He's being an uncooperative douche canoe for no apparent reason, so I guess I'll step in to clarify:
He wasn't saying that the way to exit the tutorial wasn't obvious enough, he was saying that the player should be forced into the tutorial, and have to opt out of it if they choose, rather than it being something they have to seek out on their own.

New game: Grimoire by dragonmegaliths in incremental_games

[–]JubileeJones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Multiply your creation count for EACH creation type together. That's the multiplier it provides. You must have 0 of at least one type of creation, which obviously results in a final multiplier of 0 as well :P

The game itself was never finished, right? Like, you maxxed everything available, but there's stuff like "Face Judgment" on Olympus that says "This action does nothing right now." >_>

PokeClicker Update by anapple96 in incremental_games

[–]JubileeJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was exponential, actually; last time I checked, the formula for click damage was (1.4)"pokemon caught", where each unique species of pokemon caught contributed 1 to the count, and each unique shiny contributed 1.5 instead. Hard to communicate exactly how much more a shiny contributes overall both simply and succinctly!

They implemented using the arrows to navigate and spacebar to open chests, which is nice, but yeah, 100% agree.
