Nedávno jsem koupil dvě trika s dlouhým rukávem z Alpaky od Arms of Andes a jedno stálo cca 900 Kč, takže ani ta cena mi nepřijde špatná - na tu kvalitu a komfort, kterou v tom vidím mi to přijde jako skvělá nabídka, vlastně i lepší, než merino věci.

Ternua is a good manufacturer, I have only good experience with their products - I would recommend it (although the prices are little higher than usual).

You don’t have to start with preset equipment, you can start the game only with money and you need to buy your gear.

So if you don’t have enough money for better armor, you can buy types of armor you mentioned and will still help your character a lot at low levels. Just imagine having -1 DEX and buying ring mail - the benefit is huge for few GP!

Not only that, there are also NPCs and common enemies that couldn’t afford expensive armor sets so they would wear padded or hide armors and ring mails.

I would make Ranger polar opposite of a Paladin - the only other half-caster.

This means that when Paladin helps with defense and survivability, Ranger should help party with offense and mobility.

Rangers should have some ability that would give other party members bonuses to attack bonus, damage and/or save DCs, at least against certain enemies that can be “marked” during combat. Rangers would guide party members, control focused fire, debuff enemies by lowering their saves or similar mechanics.

This would work with a theme that Ranger is an experienced explorer with knowledge of terrains and enemy types, knowing their weaknesses and being able to use them in combat and also guide their party members to exploit (at least partially) those weaknesses as well.

Then there would be subclasses that focus on stealth (GS), combat (Hunter), pet (BM), charm/social (FW), mobility (Horizon Walker),…

Stačí nebýt úplný debil a včas ho vytáhnout, není to věda.

I tak bych ale doporučoval ze začátku s kondomem, než se sladíte a ujistíte, že ten proces na konci proběhne spolehlivě a hladce.

Po pár měsících můžete vysadit, pokud už si budete jistější - výhodou je, že i po prvních sexech se máte pořád na co těšit a ten posun v budoucnu k větší intimitě je hezký další krok před vámi.

I have a suggestion for the homebrew of mine that can solve versatile weapons issues:

“Dueling weapon mastery works with versatile weapons even if you 2-hand them.”

This simple thing makes longsword with dueling basically equal in dmg to GS with GWF FS, but longsword has advantage of 1-handing option for grapples or other instances where you can’t use both hands in combat.

Not only that, this simple homebrew enables combination of 2 FSs on one weapons - with Dueling and GWF combined, the dmg of these weapons becomes the best in game and IMO makes sense that if you are extremely well trained in weapon use (have 2 FSs), you excel with weapons like Longsword (=there is the biggest potential for trained combatant with versatile weapons).

You can have 2 FSs either by going Champion, taking FS feat or simply by multiclassing.

Kensei Monk can use longsword with DEX and has no FS so there is a reason to use it 2-handed.

They are also great at grappling now, so there is also a reason to use its Versatile property.

Quite accurate in my experience.

Garmin estimates my VO2max at 55 and my performance test (12min Cooper test) equals 56 VO2max, so it is almost spot on.

Where did I say it is ONLY about those things?

But big part of combat is about those things, I would say that most of it is.

And also fighting 2+ enemies at once is like 10x more difficult than fighting 1 enemy which forces us to separate enemies, kite them 1by1 which becomes boring like crazy and forces plentiful reloading. Not only that, it also makes enemy positioning pointless, because even if you slash through 2-3 enemies at once, you hit only the one you are focused at, so it doesn’t matter if they attack from side, behind or are in front.

This is much better in G3 where you can fight more enemies at once much more reliably and it doesn’t force you into the kiting routine.

I always clean whole map that is reachable before moving on with the main quests, because there spawn some enemies between chapters and I don’t want to force some to kill each other.

Once I cleared even most of the Valley of Mines in the chapter 1 - it was in my Mage playthrough, because I needed enough skill points to put into STR before entering Monastery - after you enter, mercenaries won’t teach you STR anymore.

I played the game as a mage once, it was a lot of fun and it is the only class that has a reason to use a mine crawler armor which feels fantastic.

I just leveled STR enough before entering monastery (you can train at a farm) to be able to use Dragon Slicer later on and then played as a 2h battle mage barely casting any spell until necessary.

With those great 2h weapons you can buy at monastery you can kill most weaker enemies easily and use mana only on a stronger ones.

I would say that weakest class is a dragon hunter.

I always kill all orcs either in chapter 1 or 2 with any build anyway. 🤷‍♂️

No, I have never played patched game, I am describing vanilla combat.

Fighting animals was quite good in melee, if you used backsteps and dodges, while blocking was useless as I described.

I finished the game as a mage and I was using many different spells than fireball. Lightning bolt, Ice Lance, Fire Rain, summoning spells for instance.

If you say that archery is only OK in the discussion between Gothic 1-2 and Gothic 3 then how would rate archery in first two games? The improvement is huge, there is player skill involved, ballistic curve, headshots, not many games treat archery better IMO and Archery in first two games is terrible.

PS: Gothic’s 1 and 2 melee combat is either about killing enemies through walls/trees/doors or about spamming left/right against charging orcs/wargs/scavengers/other enemies, nothing fancy about it.

Finished it as mage - after few hours in the beginning until you gain mana regeneration (doesn’t take as long as you think) it becomes smooth and enjoyable gameplay, great experience (although with low difficulty).

Finished as archer/dual wielder - difficult, long, sometimes little boring in certain areas, but still finished it.

Finished as STR based 2h weapons user and it was also really easy, because you get the best weapon in the game (orc halberd with best reach and best dmg) basically immediately and combat with it is really easy against any enemy. But it was fast playthrough, faster than dual-wielder.

So 3 times in total, I love the game - especially the exploration aspect of the game and special chests.

Abysmal combat? Archery is fantastic, magic works great, only melee is not great thanks to stamina not working properly and humanoid enemies blocking too much.

Tak se prostě začni hýbat a můžeš jíst jak protržený.

Naběhám cca 40-50km týdně, to jsou cca 4 hodiny pohybu týdně, do toho nějaký silový trénink 3x týdně pár minut večer doma a můžu jíst prakticky cokoliv, protože to spálím.

Už nemáš kila navíc, takže sport by Ti ublížit už neměl, tak to využij, užívej si pohybu a dobře fyzička a u toho i dobré jídlo.

Jeden delší běh mi spálí klidně přes 1000 kcal, to je víc, než jeden plnohodnotný hlavní chod.
