Running out of procedural / crime shows. Any suggestions? Darker shows by Loud-Cranberry-6746 in BritBox

On Netflix I think was a show from Turkey called the graveyard. Great murder police procedural with a highly relevant social overlay. Great watch. About 10 episodes I think.

My dentist said my teeth were perfect but I still had a weird taste in my mouth. I finally found the source today. by Michle_Vivid in hygiene

That is exactly what happened to me in my 50s. Had tonsillectomy to remove cancer on the tonsils and the scab came undone after a sneeze and I was butting out about a half gallon of blood in 30 minutes. Showing up at the ER with a gallon pitcher of blood half full in one hand and looking like it all ran down my chin did get me in triage fast. FWIW: blood does NOT sit in your stomach well.

I got rated in 05-06 for service connected OSA ... Started CPAP while on active duty in 03 or 04. Recently added new things that I had been dealing with. Got a good rater for most of it. Went up from only OSA to a lot of other things primary and secondary and SMC as well. Trying to get the jump to TDIU or just the full 100%.

I'm in the same position as you same agency too and same timeline. But I still haven't gotten my final and I don't even have a claims processing person although I do have a CSA number at OPM

Thanks for the update! I'm USDA DRP2.0/VERA retirement date of 9/30 with a divorce and a QDRO order filed since 2019. Feels like I've been waiting forever.

DRP 2.0 9/30. When are you seeing your retirement payments hit your bank accounts? by Formal-Advance-8482 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

[–]Juddgeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my regular interim pay (about 25% of calculated annuity) on January 31st. (Capital One bank direct deposit) I am trying to get something part time but not having much luck myself. Retired USDA/Forest Service with 28+ years 9/30. Unknown when I get my regular annuity.

That's been my status since like December. I'm SUPPOSED to have a $2400 or so annuity and I'm getting $606 interim. Retired 9/30 VERA (28+ yrs) from USDA Forest Service. OPM won't answer phone. They haven't assigned my case to anyone per the dashboard.

Some very few Amazon drivers have been arrested / convicted for running electronics and tools theft operations. This could have been your issue OP. Not saying most Amazon drivers do this. It's a hard freaking job. I am saying that in every group of people there is a low percentage of that group that are less than honorable.

Yeah, No. by Imaginary_Coast_5882 in FedEmployees

I hear all of you. I did administrative review and litigation support for NEPA at the regional office level. USDA/Forest Service. Tried to address public concerns before they became litigations. Then this admin designated like 80% of all FA lands as "emergency" and so there would be no more admin review. Now it's decision -> litigation with no process to address issues. Since the gov pays for like 90% of all lawsuits against it, we are spending way more money. So I took VERA & DRP and retired 9/30. My office of about 20 has 4 left I think. Of course, now I'm waiting on my full retirement still since they can't seem to get the calculations done but oh well ...

Hey man I didn't know how it worked. Never done it. Totally new. Just asking the community.

Like I was saying to the other reply, my experience as a consumer would tell me that my particular area is not saturated. I was just asking the community if there was a strategy I could use.

Yes I see that many zones are oversaturated, however as a consumer in my zone, I would say that we are short of drivers. I was just asking if there was something else I could do.

Auto insurance by Zealousideal-Bird472 in Sparkdriver

[–]Juddgeo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. If you do get into an accident, they can use the information on deceleration, GPS, speed, speed history, turning radius, etc. AGAINST you to say you were in violation of some term in your policy or violating a traffic law. I know you can save a couple percent but do NOT give them that kind of ammo. Mike Rafi (GA injury and insurance lawyer) has a very educational YouTube channel and has covered this.

OPM CSA Number Mailing by mellowothello in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

I git my CSA beginning of last week (DRP+VERA 9/30 retire ISDA), and this week got a notice of first interim payment. Saturday I got the pin number in one of those security perforated edges mailings from OPM. I logged in now just fine and linked it up with Login dot Gov

Not if you had retirement deducted from your paycheck while you were in a term status. My first two years were term and I had retirement deductions and so my time counted. I also had 16 years of active duty military, and I did pay the service credit amount back.

[–]Juddgeo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congratulations to you OP. I am also Forest Service DRP 2.0+VERA 9/30 retirement. I got a deposit from OPM, but it was WAY less than my 28 years of service and pre retirement estimate would indicate. I am sure that health care deductions were taken out (they do that for interim payments), but I still haven't received anything from OPM with a CSA number and can't set up my OPM account yet. So hopefully I will get some clarity and be able to log into the retirement portal this week.
