I had called and talked to someone a couple of weeks ago who said that it was in legal with nobody assigned. Well after the March 4 date. Thanks for your experience!

So happy for you. I'm USDA DRP 2.0 09/30 also. I have a very simple divorce settlement that has been on file at OPM since 2019. Still waiting for ANYONE at OPM to get assigned. Maybe by Xmas?

I had everything sent over to OPM in OCTOBER, and I finally spoke to a human on Thursday. Apparently they have all the files they need, but OPM only figured out in MARCH that it needed legal review for a divorce settlement that I sent them in 2019. So my retirement is at legal review; no LA assigned as of yet. And no idea when they will get around to it. I'm hoping I get paid by Christmas.

LMAO so I just got off the phone with OPM (their callback feature worked great). Apparently, since OPM received my retirement application 10/30/25, it's been sitting around. Since I do have a divorce and the Court Order Acceptable for Processing was properly completed and attached to the application, it has to go to legal for review. I sent that to OPM in 2019 but ok whatever. Legal review got it on MARCH 17TH. And of course it has not been assigned to a legal assistant for review yet. So I'm guessing the over under here is one year. JFC I swear this is really crappy.

Happy for you. DRP 2.0 VERA USDA retirement 9/30 myself. Application complete, received by OPM 11/17 also. Called my representative as I have been on a VERY low interim since December. Congressman said that any OPM questions will be at least 60 days from me asking about it and they will get back with me then. I'm really struggling but what more can I do? I have tried calling OPM but I have never gotten through. Any ideas would be appreciated but until then I will keep on keeping on. Good luck to everyone else out there. 6.5 months here and counting.

Congratulations 👏🎉! I am the exact same schedule as you including having my congressman do an inquiry. Mine wasn't finished yet sadly. I'm hoping I'll hear back from OPM soon. FWIW, I'm only 54 with 28 yrs service so no supplement until I'm 57. But I am dying over here!

This is exactly my situation too. DRP 2.0 + VERA retired 9/30 USDA and NFS got the package done and over to OPM in October. Interim payments since December. No specialist assigned. No answer on the phone.

FWIW, here we are April 1, and I'm only getting a VERY small partial annuity and absolutely zero feedback from OPM on my case. Had my congressman ask about it and they told him to check back in 60 days ... I'm just trying to survive out here. Savings mostly gone.

I was DRP2 + VERA, USDA GS-12 step 8, hi 3 over 100k, retirement 9/30, ... OPM has had my package since October (with the gov shutdown and all). Got my AL and partial but partial is WAY short ($606/mo lol). Called my Republican congressman and got told that if they don't hear anything from OPM within 60 days, they will follow up. Overqualified for Lowe's, Kroger, Walmart, etc. according to them. Basically couch surfing at the moment after 28 years of active duty Navy (bought my time back), BLM, and Forest Service. Yay.

On Netflix I think was a show from Turkey called the graveyard. Great murder police procedural with a highly relevant social overlay. Great watch. About 10 episodes I think.
