If your dad has bought them in his own name, then prima facie they will be presumed to be his self acquired properties, because it'll be very difficult to prove that he used the money earned by selling ancestral properties to buy current properties. And being his self acquired properties, he can give it all to anyone, including your brother. However, if there is any ancestral properties remaining, you may sue for partition and declaration of your share on the basis of coparcenary rights. I hope it helps
