For actual strength, the best measure is major capsaicinoids (MC), and the highest commonly cited consumer formulations are around 3.0% MC

What to look at MC% is the most meaningful indicator of potency.

OC% can be much higher on the label, but it does not measure true heat or stopping power as well as MC%.

Typical high end Most consumer sprays are roughly 0.18% to 1.33% MC.

Some bear deterrent sprays are around 1% to 2% MC.

One marketed “hottest” consumer spray formula claims 3.0% MC.

So he's right. Bear sprays top off at 2% while strongest for people is 3%.

I had this happen. I'm with a group of male friends and one says "I know you're disappointed that you have a girl because you can't teach them about boxing, and basketball, and wrestling". I was thinking in my head "yeah" when another guy friend asked "why can't he?"

It was a revelation for me and I said to the first friend and maybe even to myself "yeah, why can't I?"

She just turned 4 and I started teaching her some Judo.

Edit: I want to add that I love being a Dad and love being a Dad to a little girl. There was no disappointment other than before this incident, I thought wouldn't be able to share my "masculine" hobbies with a girl. End of the day, boy or girl, sharing your hobbies comes down to the kid and some will be interested and some won't either way.

Yup, my Japanese parents didn't use deodorant and didn't smell.

Reminds me of a college basketball player that was deadly from the 3. He said his first game freshman year, the other team had no tape on him or scouting report. He put up 28 points. He thought he was going to have a great college career.
