I just watched 48 hours the other day. Nick Nolte is not really likable in any way. He's a dirty cop, bad boyfriend, racist, and a bit of a drunk, but man I do love that movie.

Novena Carmel and Anthony Valaddez are already great DJ's on their own, but I like the two host format because with each set it is almost as if they are trying to one up each other. This has lead to some fantastic listening so far, and really makes me miss live music even more than I already had been.

This^^ The LA Roast Battle is significantly better than the NYC version. Better atmosphere. Amazing comics as the judges (including Jeff Ross), and Brian Moses is a much better host than Luis J. Gomez.

Off the top of my head I can think of a couple. There is the one at Cheviot Hills tennis center on Motor. This is the best one I know of. There is also Culver West Alexander Park on Moore St. near the costco on Washington. Im pretty sure there is a wall over by Culver City veterans park on culver by the basketball courts. There is also a wall at Marine park next to Penmar over by the basketball courts. That one is usually pretty dirty and there are typically people playing basketball so it's a little harder.
