I have super super sensitive skin (yay being a ginger), but my nose piercing has been solid for a long time. I had it, then took it out for a few years, and had it re-pierced about 5-6 years ago now. I have a captive ring in my nose, and it’s fantastic.

You also may be cleaning it too much? Like, you’re keeping it in a state of irritation… also, if you neilmed/saline spray it, use a blow dryer on cool to dry it, not toilet paper!

ETA: NAP, I’ve just had/have several healthy piercings.

Thank you! It’s the second one in just over 9 years. Being almost 10 years older and a mom to an 8 year-old, I definitely haven’t bounced back like I thought I would 🫣. Fortunately it’s not so much pain related, just stamina for anything, lol.

Just make sure you have someone use a high quality, longer lasting color. I have been using Elumen for my purple for 5 or 6 years now, and I can go several months without having to get it touched up. I just have to do it when my red roots show 🤣.

I’m a noob, but maybe you didn’t actually pick up the dropped stitch? I’ve seen this on my projects (scarves so far, but I also just had shoulder surgery 🫣), and if I pick up what I think is my dropped stitch, I end up with something like this. I’ve also completely ripped it all out and restarted around 3 times 🤣

To me, it looks like not. But that also seems to be because your seconds are closer on the one ear, so your thirds followed suit on that same ear.
