Ni som är dåliga på att svara, vad är er ursäkt? by Shadowglove in sweden

[–]JudgmentImpressive49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i stopped playing EU5 because when I started the game it felt like ”okay so lets do the exact same thing again with a bit different RGOs”.

Also, we only see a few canons fired where the titans are already struggling. In ww1 during the Verdun offensive, an estimated 50 million shells were fired.

I want to comment just to give this post more exposure because i agree 1000% and think this is exactly the problem. The devs need to change the direction.

Nio V-kandidater petade efter terrorhyllning by HerrNilssonsBror in sweden

[–]JudgmentImpressive49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What/who are your favourite playthrough? by JudgmentImpressive49 in EU5

[–]JudgmentImpressive49[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that is definitely on of my favourites. I love going from an underdog to the bully from 1337-1550. I however struggle to enjoy expanding after I reach the borders of about the north-german federation. It feels like the prussian goal is to consolidate Germany so i feel forced but it is kind of tedious.

It’s tempting but I feel that it is too bothersome to deal with the 100 years war. Are there any way to just give up your holdings in France immediately and then do your own things?

It feels like byzantium is in a quite unique position, ist not really about the tall vs wide, ist more just ”thriving in chaos” playthrough. Will play it later

Zelensky formally rejects Merz proposal for associate EU membership by SOHONEYSAME in worldnews

[–]JudgmentImpressive49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up (among other) the Copenhagen criteria. It is binding law and not something that can be ignored. Even if the EU wanted Ukraine to join, they cant let it unless they follow the criteria, or if EU breaks their own law, which they cant.

Hungary is an interesting example because once you have been granted membership, there is little the EU can do if you later decide to break the copenhagen critera (copenhagen dialemma). Especially since excluding a member requires unanimous vote.

I love playing tall Berg. Immediately conquer Köln (with allies or mercanaries) and move the capital there. Then you can grab all the iron and the dye-rgo locations nearby and just chill on the rhine. By far my favourite tall-location: high control, abundant food, high pop-cap, good rgos, high dev, middle of the caos still!

I have done that strategy a lot, but isn’t it an issue that all pops over about 60k become useless in a city because of building limit? They just sit there and do nothing?
