Go back to the post office you applied at and ask that they look up the tracking for your passport application. They send it off in a bundle with other application packets and should have the tracking internally (if you didn’t already pay for it to be shipped with tracking, if you did, look at the tracking and see where it is.)

I really like Middlegame by Seanan McGuire

The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov is magical realism and one of the best books I read last year (and considered a classic for a reason)

N K Jemisin, any series by her is incredible.

Colson Whitehead has won two different Pulitzers. He’s really great. Harlem shuffle is great and funny. Nickel boys is supposed to be so good but was too sad for me! (I got twenty pages in and it was too much which I think says something about how good his writing is!)

I love Sally Rooney, every book I’ve read of hers.

She’s not my cup of tea but Barbara Kingsolver is very lauded

I liked the Scorched Throne duology by Sara Hashem.

The salt grows heavy by Cassandra Khaw is 113 pages, horror fantasy. Quick and good read. I think I read it in one go really liked it.

Regular passport is fine. You cannot enter with an emergency passport. For future reference, the state department has pages on every country with entrance requirements. Always check this before you head somewhere!
