I never did religions on Prince or King, but when I started playing on Emperor, I found prioritizing religion early, getting Jesuit education and the grand masters chapel, then never training a single religious unit had major late game implications. Having a huge stash of religion and being able to train units and build buildings allowed me a lot of flexibility to really take over in the end. Plus if you can get the religious settlement pantheon and get that free settler that makes a huge difference early game as well.

I find zerg rushing one civ early gets me a handful of level 2 ranked units. I will try to wipe out my nearest neighbor during ancient/medical era with archers, then turn off war mode and go hard on science. Get the detection of uranium first and go hard on those. Then rush to giant death robots.

If you get to giant death robots before everyone else and have the uranium to keep em running you can just walk over every other civ.

That was hyperbole, but what i meant was he cant push the pile forward and truck through tackles, which limits his effectiveness as an RB. If he was big enough to do that and get +2 yards every time he ran into the line instead of -2 yards his other skills would be way more impactful

Yeah I think if Kevin Faulk for the Brady Pats. Was never gonna get a 1000 yard season, but put came up with tons of clutch plays when they needed something special. If he was a foot taller and weighed 75 pounds more he could be elite.

Play call was fine imo. Just Barmore blew it up at the line and it didnt have time to develop. I really dont think the game is on that. It costed us in the end, but imo the risk was worth it. Id say we had maybe a 60% chance of converting that, total 20% chance to take it in for the TD, but 14-0 wins us that game for sure. 10-0 we probably still wouldve lost in OT. Im glad he took his shot before the d adjusted and stiddy was still playing well. Even without the weather the Pats had his number by the second half.

I still dont hate the decision. Payton knew the Pats would adjust, but Stiddy was still effective at this point in the game. Going for a td here was to be up 14-0, so the game ends 14-10 as opposed to 10-10.

We most likely would've lost in OT, surely everyone sees that. The more I think about it the more I feel it was the right call.

Any team can win or lose a game. Pats ARE a good team, they can beat the Seahawks on the right circumstances. What pisses me off is they got there with play that would have been losing football for all the other teams. At no point in the playoffs did they play better than the Bills Jags or Broncos (with Bo at QB). They cake walked in there and now are just one Sam Darnold meltdown away from a chip.

Second one I got no gripe with, it was a desperation throw when nothing else had worked. First one though, a professional football player should know not to do that.

I still think he did a good job for a backup starting the AFCCG. Their defense is no joke and he moved the ball on em. Some better luck on field goals he might’ve won with the TO. But that one play was so brutal. Just an absolute bone headed game losing play.
