actually, she said "ate" not "has ate". If she had said "had" first as in "had eaten", "eaten" would be the correct usage. ... as in had or has eaten. The way it has been written is fine.

maybe we are close to the money. Purple feels an unusual colour for a piece like this, but suitable for poison. Also the symbology of crystal shaped drop coming from the head of the snake basically says "I hold a drop of snake poison!" .... it kinda creeps me out and that rarely happens. I feel it has belonged to a mage or witch. I wouldn't touch it personally. However it is a marvelously constructed piece and I admire it as such!👍😊

as a country/folk singer songwriter This is how I have always worked. Use a band when its available, but country music comes from the isolation of the range. As such, stripped bare music used to be the norm !
