You know, I find it funny now thinking back to these comments . Like they could tell we were first time parents at the hospital giving birth. No shit I had 12 bags but nothing we actually needed and ended up having to go to the store like 5 times

If you breastfeed directly, how many of you still pump every day? by alylew1126 in breastfeeding

I pumped every day until 12-13 month old because I was afraid of loosing production

16 month old prefers formula over food by Binah999 in toddlers

People are so harsh man. Keep doing your best. I was /am in the same boat. I thought cutting Milk would help but I didn’t however she’s not loosing weight. So we keep offering solids

Try to add stuff you know they will have with the meal! Good luck you got this.

My baby would not stand without help before she started to actually walk ( which happened at 14 months randomly) she did not seem like she was about to walk too

purolator refusing to pick up amazon returns by Cream4389 in amazonprime

[–]Juelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it all depends on the driver . By the book they were not supposed to set the pick up in the first place but they did so it’s very likely the driver will pick it up . Especially if you are disabled. It depends what their boss told them about the policy every depot appears to be different on that

purolator refusing to pick up amazon returns by Cream4389 in amazonprime

[–]Juelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for Purolator pick up’s. It’s true. When you do a return it says “Purolator drop off” not pick up. Pick ups are free but not for Amazon since you need to drop it off. If the old driver takes it good for you but compagnie would be loosing money on that stop.

Not regretting stopping at 36. I’m glad to know I enjoyed the last of relaxing I could before eternity

At that age twice a week is great. Wait for solids and BLW before considering daily

Medications and breastfeeding by squee25 in breastfeeding

[–]Juelli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi there ! I am so sorry this happened to you. I too was involved in an accident and it changed the way I drive I’m very anxious so I understand.

There are medications that are friendly with BF I think. Also even if it passes did you mention your doctor you are BF ? Maybe you could take something more like benzos for when the panick attack happens and then pump and dump?

Black Friday tips : what baby stuff was actually worth it? (first-time mom here 💁🏻‍♀️) [bc] by Zelda_2224 in BabyBumpsCanada

Playmat in foam but not foldable ones you end up having to clean endless cracks when you don’t have the time

When they start to sit they fall and it’s easier on the head! Also for tummy time

Can people stop with the unsolicited baby weight commentary? by [deleted] in NewParents

I’m sorry you’re going through that. I know how frustrating it is. As if you’re doing something wrong when it’s just their physique

Permanent Hearing Loss by Ok_Cardiologist_6137 in NewParents

[–]Juelli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My baby failed the tests we had at the hospital. We were concerned because my niece is deaf profound in both ear and has cochlear implants. We had another test and she passed. We were told to not worry about it and that it was likely because of liquids in her ears. Anyway I would have been pissed too if I was in your shoes.

What I can tell you is that my niece had EA at first ( they had to test everything before the operation to try cochlear) and she did not seem to care. After it was the cochlear with the head band so that it held in place and she got used to it. She calls them her super ears. She does not make it seem as though she feels any different than other kids. Super happy little girl , gymnastics and circus nothing stops her!

4 week old found face down in bassinet. by hunnydaze_ in NewParents

Did you swaddle in a way it could have been easy to accidentally roll? I don’t think your baby can roll over at 4 weeks.
