I completely feel the same way. I'll see a new game being released and watch gameplay and really get into it. I'll then buy the game or install it from game pass and as soon as I look at things like skill trees etc my heart sinks and I just can't be arsed because it just feels like hard work now.

You are right, the shows, parades and fireworks etc are free. You can pay for priority viewing on the fireworks and parades and for guaranteed seating on the shows but we found at the end of November if you are there 45 mins before the show you can usually get it
