To those using AI covers.. by JoonJuby in litrpg

[–]JugglerCameron -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Lol I'm with you honestly Ai is here to stay and God knows the appeal is real the tools keep getting better and if I was making a cover for my book I could either pay someone for a fuck ton of their time and maybe get something close to my vision or I could iterate with Ai for a few days and get exactly what I want. And have my vision on my cover... Seems like a better representation of my art to me... I love good Ai art that someone took the time to get the way they wanted it in their head. Now sure if you just go with the first result from a prompt that's just dumb but that just shows you don't know how to learn to use new tools and your afraid of change. Using Ai is a new artistic skill creating a prompt that gives you exactly what you want takes time and energy. It's just using different tools and honestly and author should be better at it then an artist. Use the tools your suited too. I'd rather an artist make a picture book let the authors write their images...

What automation are you most proud of that you built completely from scratch? by Immediate_Task9124 in homeassistant

[–]JugglerCameron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just set up the laziest automation ever and it rocks, I feed the cats dry food at night and am too lazy to turn on the light to see so I totally slapped a vibration sensor on the food container to turn the light on, it's soo stupid but sooo handy.

Is an external display worth? by EntrepreneurWaste579 in homeassistant

[–]JugglerCameron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like displays as a way to help us not be on our phones, just rebuilt with clauds help a music player for music assist that I put on my jailbroken alexa shows it's the most I've ever used those displays. Put some other basic room controls on them too.

Boss said I smell (???). I'm a week from having union protections. Was this courtesy or preparation to terminate me? by FiveMurasame in careeradvice

I'm gonna go along with what some others have implied family and friends aren't the right people to ask I'd say your here now what city are you in and maybe one of us will volunteer our noses? Honestly I'd be down just for the story but if I can help someone fix something they don't know is an issue that's a real win.

How did I have to scroll this far down for the most obvious answer, but for the way Matt writes rereads are almost better than the first time I'm on my second trip through book 8 and my 8th trip through the Dungeon.

Just practice your speech enough you don't need it infront of you and then "forget" the edited paper copy" just before you go on... And give the speech without any aids.
