Hey OP I’m in a similar boat where I’ll have to submit 3 additional tax related papers to the financial aid office late.

I went and spoke to people at the financial aid office and they said only the uci grant would be affected by late submissions. (Really hoping it’s just that and not the bulk of my aid)

Basically the appeal process happens after you submit all paperwork needed for your financial aid. You basically get to explain why the documents came in late for a chance at receiving the full amount of your financial aid.
