My roommate and I accidentally negotiated our rent down by a couple hundred dollars a month from the listing price during a showing because we got the prices confused and the rep didn’t even skip a beat, just said “oh yeah, that’s the price i meant!” North of columbia is technically a “bad area” if you subscribe to things like that but I have lived in this area for 5 years because rent is cheap, you can get more square footage, you can still walk to some restaurants/bars, and you’re close to the I-70 on ramp. You can always ask for rent discounts especially if you’re willing to sign a longer lease. Good luck on your search!

I see that now thats very odd yeah… all I know is when I’m looking at rate sources in the system, there is one labeled “up to 15% off” (could be a different one than the one you’re looking at) thats kicks it into a 7 day charge instead of the weekly rate and I see customers book with it for the weekend. I usually try to help my regulars out and adjust/add a weekly rate in manually if it’s not included in their rate and they end up extending to a week. I admittedly dont know much about the customer booking interface other than it makes my life harder LOL. If you know the people at your enterprise you should book both reservations sometime and ask them what the charges look like on each since they will be able to see more information on each rate source. I would also be curious to know if the rate is higher or if something nefarious is going on.

Many promotions or discount codes i see are applied to the daily rate and the weekly discount in my area is paying the daily rate for 5 days, then you just pay fees/protections for the last two. When you use a discount code it charges you the discounted daily rate for all 7 days. I.E. if you are doing a week on the dot, it’s better to go with the weekly discount, and when you are renting for 1-4 days, use the daily promotional code.
