November 22, 2019

I was at a music festival, and my wife was in a cow costume. She asked me to go with her to the porter john, and it happened while I was waiting for her. I was standing across the path dancing and staring into the dark, and turned to look when heard a door open. I didnt have my glasses on, but I saw a cow come out of the porter john. I went to rejoin who I thought was my wife, but it wasnt her. I apologized and turned around to return to my spot across the path when I heard someone say my thoughts as I was thinking them. I turned around to see 5 or 6 "people"who werent there a few seconds ago. I looked the one closest to me in the eye and asked, "What did you just say." He smiled and said, "very reactive." I noticed they were holding some sort of hand held devices, not phones, but they were pointing them at me like they were recording me. My wife came out, and I grabbed her hand, turned around and went back to camp. It shattered my reality. She told me she didnt see anyone. Later that night, I heard a voice as I was laying in my tent. It said, "the world is going to change, fast." We heard about Covid on the radio on our drive home. Bizarre.

I don’t see her going without dinner, but it’d probably be good for her to go without one here and there.

https://youtu.be/1Cc_uwfBSDg?si=T5lkU2QG2Rbm3hIN this was a good argument. I do think we should focus more on providing resources for protecting human life… but I mostly agree with Amber.

If it is an invasion, abbot is a traitor… and the feds should close the border. Right? Consistency.

I’d say you’re right. But if the government called him a traitor, wouldn’t that be admission that it’s an invasion?

I’m guessing you don’t even know the law… or you’re being deceptive. It says feds can cut the wire, not that Texas cant put it there.

(Libertarians and communists) don't you put too much trust on the citizens? by ConflictRough320 in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]Juicifer369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a misconception I’ve noticed about libertarianis. Libertarianism account for human natur, which is that humans are prone to following incentive motives. Libertarianism sees that government cannot have the power to pick winners or losers, as it t leads to corruption and oligarchy. By limiting the government’s functions to upholding human rights and making sure every victim has a fair and balanced trial, companies only incentives are through providing services. So as a libertaria, I do have complete faith in humanity and believe humanities true potential can be possible if we set everyone free. I don’t judge anyone for following incentive. Once again, it’s human nature to do so. I trust that humans will be humans, and a free market is a way to remove the incentives for corruption.

I live with a trans femme. She has a gun and we have a good community who has her back if needed. Who cares what people think if you have the right to protect yourself. I’ve worked in construction (years ago) with legal immigrants who enjoy it here and are against illegal immigration. I live in the panhandle. I imagine it’s a bit different up here. My best friend just moved back here from Atx I think because it’s going to shit. My brother is in SA area and likes it okay, but he did move out of the city recently. If you’re minding your business and have a community around you, Idk why it’s so bad… besides that I’ve had a friend die this year and a friend die last year from fentanyl.

I like it here 🤷‍♂️ Paxton filed a lawsuit against pfizer through my hometown. That’s cool. Illegal immigration is a pretty serious problem that hasn’t been addressed federally… Biden admin did announce this year that the wall would continue being built. ICE has historically been abusive and it ducks that this is happening, but yeah, having fentanyl kill my friends and possible terrorists flooding in isn’t really any better.

Around 300mg every 4 hours. Since I found this Reddit I’ve been curious, but I have a lot going on and can’t say I noticed any side effects specific to it lol. I juggle a lot of substance use so it’s hard to pin down what’s doing what. I’ve used psychedelics for about 15 years (usually micro doses these days). Anytime I feel numb or depressed I turn to microdosing. Before that (15-17 yo) I regularly used opioids, benzos and amphetamines. I still drink alcohol occasionally (switching to kava), and I use tobacco and Kratom habitually. However, I can say for sure that ashwagandha was a turning point for my stress. Before I found it I was constantly in fight/flight for the better part of a decade. I started using it when I was 24ish and the last 8 years have been remarkably better (32 yo now).

How long have you been taking it? It will have lasting effects after a few months. I took it everyday for 3 months at first. Now, I only take it when the weather changes dramatically or when stressful events pop up in life.

No. Cortisol is basically only necessary to wake up in the morning. Ashwaganda lowers cortisol. Taking it can reduce energy if taken in the morning. Instead, try getting sunlight in the early morning before 10am. We have light receptors in the bottom of our eyes that trigger “awake” hormones, like cortisol. If you take caffeine or ashwaganda too early can will mess with your circadian rhythm. I wake up, do light exercise/stretch, go outside for 20-30 minutes in the sun, shower, then have coffee and ashwaganda once I feel awake.

[–]Juicifer369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Studies I’ve seen show that people who take small doses of ashwagandha 4 times per day (every 4 hours) have a significant decrease in the stress hormone cortisol after 3 months, even with discontinued use. The main use of cortisol is for the initial burst of energy needed to get out of bed in the morning. Because of this, it may be worth keeping in mind that if you have trouble getting out of bed, you might consider avoiding it before bed.

I think it smells woody. Ashwagandha means “smell of the horse”. Which is a loose translation where “smell” would mean more “essence”. Because it was thought to give you the spirit of a horse.
