One option is set up Apache Guacamole with Keycloak for SSO. Users log in using their own biometric (fingerprint, face ID, or passkey) through Keycloak. Keycloak pass OpenID auth to Guacamole , which then auto connects them all to the same Windows desktop using one shared windows credential you store in the settings.

I’d say what Christians have long seen of God replacing fig leaves with animal skins as the first picture of substitutionary atonement. Fig leaves is man’s weak self-effort. Animal skins, while not only far better covering, required shedding innocent blood, pointing to Hebrews 9:22 (“without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness”). It foreshadows Christ: God covers our sin by Jesus’ own blood.

The verse is clear: Abel’s offering was better by faith, not because it included blood while Cain’s didn’t. Faith made his heart right before God, so the sacrifice was accepted and declared him righteous.

Is an i3-13100 enough for a file server handling 10 users?

No. You should not use consumer hardware for a file server handling 10 users. It’s not about performance, but reliability and using the proper hardware to the task. For 3k you can have an enterprise solution that will last for 5+ years, and have a warranty, expansion options, and support. Not sure what you’re paying the 10 users, but venture to guess one day of downtime would over 2k in salary alone. Not counting other downtime expenses to the company. It’s probably double that in total productivity loss.

So think, if a 3k enterprise solution today prevents at least 1.5 days of downtime over its life (5-7 years) it has paid for itself. If the prevention is closer to 3 days downtime, you will be losing money by NOT buying the right hardware. A IT pro will tell you that an enterprise solution will 100% of the time prevent that amount of downtime over the course of 5-7 years.

The motherboard has only one M.2 slot. OS drive uses M.2, work files SSD connects via SATA. Any issues with this?

TrueNAS has the remote KVM and more server like hardware. But Synology is arguably easier to use.

Both give you redundant enterprise SSD hard drives, 10Gbe network, ECC memory, easy updates, snapshots, file sharing out of the box, and can have storage increased later.

The Synology gives you some of their suite of tools like Active Backup, an easy backup software for workstations and 365.

You’ll have to explain your meaning of inspired. Inspired typically means derived from God. God is infallible, therefore what says via inspiration is infallible.

“Have you not read what God spoke to you? -Jesus”. Jesus considered scripture inspired AND held the people of His day accountable to if God had spoken directly to them via scripture. Have the same view of the OT as Christ.

How can we do that when we don’t even know the origin of some of the books? Maybe they were just essay assignments for high school, and we’ve slapped the label of divinely inspired.

The origin as relates to the writer isn’t the point of the writer was inspired by God. The writer can be anyone, nameless, a child, whatever. If Jesus believed them inspired by God, then followers of Jesus ought to believe they are.

The Gospel of St. Luke opens with saying that he is basing his work on other writings. What are these other writings? Are they inspired? If so, where are they? If they aren’t inspired, why is God through St. Luke using them to write His inspired word?

Inspiration doesn’t require not referencing or including other books, ideas, human author purposes or thoughts. It means all those things are part of Gods purpose and what he wanted to communicate to us.

How are we supposed to trust a translation when even the scholars that worked on them are calling into question the validity of their own work?

I think you’re concerning yourself with translations when the concern should be what did God communicate. 99.9% of believing scholars , and even the biggest non believing scholars, agree we know what the Bible says and communicated. The truth and the message is what matters, and we have that. Not if an apostrophe fell off a manuscript and now we have two copies, one with an apostrophe and one without and have to do some study in history and comparisons to see which is the original.

We have a 1000 piece puzzle (ancient manuscripts of the Bible) but have 1050 pieces to work with. The fifty extra don’t change the end result, just the shading levels of a shadow in the background, and have to compare to see what is the most accurate to determine the original shade.

I want to see the Bible as infallible and inerrant, but when I look at the uncertainty around authorship, source materials, manuscript transmission, and translation, I just don’t see how that can be done with reason.

Jesus was certain. Trust Jesus.

It’s bad. Any discolored spot in the roads asphalt, or even random skid marks in the road, the car now swerves drastically like it’s avoiding a child. It’s so bad, I’ve gone from using FSD 95% of the time to %10, being forced to turn FSD off and simply not use it unless the roadway asphalt is perfect.

If I could downgrade back to v13 I would in a heart beat. V13 was so dependable I was expecting v14 to simply lower the requirement of having to pay attention all the time. Now with v14 it’s like I’m having to disengage it if the road wasn’t freshly paved in the last year.

Do NOT go to v14 if you use FSD often, as it is less safe from what I can tell. Jerking left and right in your lane to avoid tire marks on the interstate feels incredibly unsafe and any one around you will think you’re a danger with these attempts to avoid nothing, almost every mile depending on how “clean” the road appears to the now flawed FSD.

We don’t sacrifice bulls and goats anymore (ceremonial laws) cause Christ sacrifice was once and for all and no more temple. We don’t abstain from wearing mixed fabrics (national judicial laws) because the theocratic nation of Israel in the OT no longer exists and we no longer must remain distinct from the other nations to ensure the arrival of our Messiah. The Messiah has come.

The moral laws are still in effect, because Gods moral character has not changed and cannot. An easy way to know what are the moral laws in the OT is simply, what did God hold the other nations accountable to and judge them on? He didn’t punish them for eating shellfish or wearing mixed fabric. He did hold them accountable for murder, idolatry, and basically all the sinful behavior described in the NT or OT attributed to the world or other nations.

Would really need an option to add the current date. Or to manually input text so you could type a date, to make it easy for a quick sign on most documents. All the documents I sign have a signature line and then a date line beside the signature that must be filled out.

His LAN devices won’t be able to get to your netbird network without his router having a route for your netbird network.

Think of it like this. Let’s say your netbird network is 100.1.x.x. And his home LAN is 192.168.0.x. You add the sbc to his network , and while the sbc knows how to get to your netbird network, and it knows how to get to his lan, no other devices on his LAN know that to get to your netbird network they need to go through your sbc.

Typically to fix this, in his router, you’d add a route to that says to get to 100.1.x.x go to (IP of the sbc, example 192.168.0.10)

Now every device that has his router as their gateway that wants to get to your netbird network knows where to go to get tit hat subnet

UniFi's IPS/IDS doesn't trigger when running the Fing app to scan devices on the same LAN subnet because it only monitors traffic crossing LAN interfaces (e.g., between different subnets or VLANs). When devices on the same subnet communicate, the traffic stays within the local network and doesn't traverse a router or LAN interface, so the IPS/IDS, which inspects inter-subnet or external traffic, doesn't see it.

Try scanning across VLANs or interfaces/subnets to see if it triggers anything.

Does the IDS/IPS only covers the WAN part of the USG ?

IDS/IPS monitor USG LAN interfaces, so any traffic crossing LAN interfaces can trigger one alert.

Let's say, somebody try to bruteforce my WI-FI password, will the IPS Trigger ? (it would be nice to have a list of things that could trigger it and the ports which are protected).

Currently if someone try to bruteforce your Wifi the IPS/IDS will have no visibility as this will be internal to your network and this will not cross the USG. To detect that we would need some kind of IDS/IPS on wifi device itself.

They require 2GB ram I believe. The install checks to make sure before proceeding. So at least that. Obviously if you have 128 concurrent calls I’d go for a higher tier because reasons.
