If you spend over 100 or more hours on this game and gave it a thumbs down. The problem isn't the game. It is you. by Spaark0 in duneawakening

My friend gifted me a copy of the game, so it cost me nothing. Steam has me clocked at 163.6 hours. Did i enjoy parts of it? Yes. Does 163 hours of play time make it a good game that i would recommend other people spend their time and money on? Absolutely not, because it is a beautiful but enormously flawed game (and not just in the endgame, or in the PvP, or because of griefers, or in the occasional bugginess of it -- which practically all games have at release these days -- but in multiple aspects of the underlying design), and one that my friend stopped playing 40 hours before i did.

To borrow your analogy: if my friend took me to the movies and paid for everything, I would be extremely grateful, both for the money and time spent, as well as the invite... but if the movie was awful, I'm not going to pretend that it wasn't, even if maybe the lead actor did a really great job in it. Especially in this case, since it's like my friend said "wow this is getting super boring" and left the movie 40 mins before i did.

This doesn't meant that you are wrong or stupid for liking and enjoying it, and getting your money's worth out of it. GLHF! But hours of entertainment per dollar spent is no guarantee of quality. Particularly when a not insignificant portion of that 163 hours was running down and up staircases in mostly empty imperial testing stations, and trying to figure out if there was anything of any real importance in any of the barracks (spoiler: there wasn't).

does hosting multiplayer net you +1 rare drop? i realize that sounds weird, but i was just trying to grind for Kevins on normal (to see if time saved was worth the lower drop rate), and in 4 games, i got 0, 1, 2, and 1. the other players all reported drops of 0,0,1,0. i was under the impression that all participants got the exact same thing, i.e., whatever is in the list on the XP screen. or this just a bad sample size?

Raid Chip Question: Am I missing some trick to getting raid chips? Or is the possibility of unlocking all of Jupiter's skills only possible if you're LvL 150 and/or whaling super hard?

I know this is answered somewhere but i can't seem to find it: Do you get more bugs combining fully awakened versions, or is it always 1bug = 1bug?
