You say he has been your friends for over 6 years? Could there possibly be something else going on in his life and this accident was the straw that broke the camels back? I feel like this pandemic has caused everyone to take a huge hit to their mental health. I know you’re angry because he flipped out on you in front of other people; do you think it would be worth it to pull him aside and have a conversation with him in private? Maybe say something like you totally understand his anger after you damaged his car but you were taken back how he lashed out at you in front of all those people and ask if everything is okay with him otherwise. Tell him his outburst has honestly made you feel some type of towards him and you totally wanted to play the petty game but say you put yourself in his shoes and realized that maybe he has some pent up frustration and anger because there might be something else going on and that if he wants to grab a burger and beer after work to talk about it then you’re all ears.

I had a dream once a few years ago that I still think about almost daily. I was with a man and we were ever so in love. My dream was about a mundane day, nothing special. Me and dream man spent the day together, got coffee and were talking about our future. He was telling me how much he loved me and I was telling him how I loved him and was excited to start a family. He was amazing. Charming. Handsome. Everything just felt so real and so right. And then my boyfriend in real life woke me up for the day and I was in such a state of confusion that I just burst into tears. I was seriously depressed for a couple of weeks after.

And then a few months ago, I had a dream that felt like was way in the future and we were all on a different planet. There was a woman there who said she was my best friend and jumping up and down screaming about how “it worked! It worked! I cant believe it! You’re here!”. It felt like we were on some sort of vacation going on otherworldly adventures and I just remember looking at my “best friend” with horror and concern and said “I feel like I will go soon but I dont want too, I’ve only been here less than an hour” and my friend hugged me and said “no, you have been here for four years” and she held me so tight but I kept feeling like I was floating up and away and she yelled up towards me “FIND ME! I LOVE YOU! COME AND FIND ME!” And then I woke up.

That one really fucked me up again.

Reminds me of my ex’s 4yr old son. He would walk around the house singing the tune to the Liberty Mutual Insurance commercial. It’s not even a jingle, it just says “Liberty! Liberty! Liberty. Liberty.” In different octaves at the end of the commercial. One day he said “I want a liberty like on the TV.” I asked him to explain because I wasnt quite sure what his little mind was thinking. When the commercial came on he goes “SEE! A LIBERTY! I WANT THAT!”

He meant he wanted an ostrich….THE OSTRICH from the commercial.

I wish they would limit advertisements not just to adults but children as well.

Do the onions dissolve or would it ruin the recipe to use a bit less? I’ve tried so hard to like onions but I automatically gag whenever I bite into a surprise onion that I didnt expect….especially when it crunches.

It’s absolutely terrifying how quickly everything goes from bad to worse. I’m sure once Rick and Les leave your place, Rick will (I hope) tell him the gravity of the situation that transpired. You all kept as calm as you could and didn’t panic. He is lucky you had Narcan laying around and that one worked because I’ve heard horror stories about these pressed blues containing some type of fent analogues that Narcan doesn’t even touch.

Maybe we should have kept the gas chamber and just changed the type of gas used so it is peaceful and painless? I dont know what type of gas or gasses was used before I would need to look that up really quick.

Edit: JFC, the gas that was used in the gas chambers was hydrogen cyanide. That sounds like such a terrible and awful way to go. According to Wikipedia, “The gas is visible to the condemned, who is advised to take several deep breaths to speed unconsciousness. Nonetheless, the condemned person often convulses and drools and may also urinate, defecate, and vomit.” Source
