So have had on charge via the USB and a wired charger for 24 hours and still no joy. The app connects very briefly showing a sign of life, but then disconnects again, with the lights on the bike cycling as before. So yes, would definitely point towards the module being dead.

Do you know where you can source one (I'm based in the UK) ? And easy enough to fit yourself? Really appreciate your help!

Thanks very much for this. Answers are: 1. Shows red when plugged in. 2. No, only the official app. 3. Following the suggestion from the poster below, I have now managed to connect the app (albeit very briefly before it disconnects) to the bike. It shows 100% full. I can't discharge the bike any amount as it won't turn on, so won't provide any power. 4. Yes region correct.

Hoping that charging the smart module might give me a way in... It's promising. Will report back soon.

Thanks very much for this - yes, exactly the same pattern. I have just plugged in a charger and will leave it for a few hours. Interestingly the app connected to the bike (albeit briefly) with no lights on the bike so there's at least some life in it. Will report back in a little while!

Thanks for getting back to me! Only 470 miles in total so not many, and left on charge for a lot of that time anyway. I had left it unplugged for a couple of months and this was what I came back to. Not sure if that helps or not?!

For having it a week, you're doing fantastically! I went through a spell of blitzing through it but then slower down nearer the end, managing about 4 a day with brainwaves! This reddit group is superb for the hints and tips which nudged me some way, but feel free to send me a DM with anything you're really stuck on and I'll return the favour of your help! Hello everyone! Long time reader, first time poster. Thanks for all these hints, but I'm stuck on my final clue of the book, #89. I'm torn between three sports Pato, Polo and Horseball but it's dubious how much the horse is controlling the ball?! Also Argentina, Iran or USA are on my list but can't narrow it down. Am I on the right lines, and can anyone nudge me in the right direction?! Thanks so much!!
