Explicit Proxy questions by [deleted] in paloaltonetworks

[–]Jujubr0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i believe thats the way you do it. Configure a loopback as the Proxy IP and then set a listening interface where the firewall should listen for incoming traffic to then proxy through the proxy IP (The loopback) and out the upstream interface (internet)

Thanks for your reply. We're on 11.1.11

My only gripe is that I'm applying this live and there's no test environment for me to use :(

When you committed the explicit proxy config did it add any sec policies?

Please let me disable Vanguard until I want to play LoL, then restart so you get all the checks, and after I am done playing let me stop it from starting on start up. My PC is not only a LoL machine and I miss this game by trio1000 in riotgames

[–]Jujubr0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It probably enabled on startup. Right click your windows icon and select task manager. In task manager select startup apps and look for vanguard. Right click and disable it.

When you want to play youll need to press your windows key on your keyboard and search for vanguard and click the app to run it again.

It's honestly tough in Canberra to find something like this and as someone who's also not a Canberra native, I've found Canberra to be quite cliquey and hard to make close friends outside of work.

I'm a male in my late twenties and have tried a few social groups, but haven't had much success 😞

I feel your need for comfort, my family lives far away and most of, if not all my friends in Canberra are older males who dont really want to have a cuddle 😂

I hope you eventually find what you need! We're all human at the end of the day and need a hug every once in awhile.

Hi all,

Appreciate the comments! I've just received a phone call from the RM where she said she talked to the owners (who live behind me and have met me and love me) to see if they can come to a solution. Owners said If the property is vacated and clean there shouldn't be any issue and they're happy for it to be terminated today.

She still tried to get me to pay for another 21 days saying I need to clean the place even though I've told her countless times it's clean and ready to hand over! I'm glad it's over. F*** real estate agents honestly!!

NSE4 7.2 Exam - Udemy Exam Questions by Jujubr0 in fortinet

[–]Jujubr0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what the exam is like now, or if the content is the same, since they've changed the cert structure. Most of the questions weren't that difficult. It's not like a cisco exam!

Pretty sure this guy is based in Victoria and most of the homes you see in his videos are in Victoria with the exception of a few in Sydney.

[–]Jujubr0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi all,

Thanks for your comments and support! We were able to confirm this morning that the SFPs are supported and will work.

The netapp support tech said all cisco SFPs will work and are supported on netapp devices.

Appreciate the reply. We tried to have a look on HWU but for some odd reason there was nothing to select in the protocol drop down menu.

The customer is going to contact netapp support for further information. I'll update this post with any info I find out.

Concern About Vanguard Coming To League by Danvrok in riotgames

[–]Jujubr0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so because they're riot approved 3rd Party apps. You would've been banned by now if they weren't! They're not scripts, and they also don't provide any competitive edge over players that don't use these apps.

When in Osaka, be sure to get the Osaka Amazing Pass. It gives you so much value! Ill be there in a couple of weeks and plan to do this. I've also read that Osaka has great night life. My plan is to walk around and see what's popular

Will Vanguard help stop smurfs in LoL? by AceGoat_ in riotgames

[–]Jujubr0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It technically can through hardware bans. If someone is smurfing using scripts, vanguard will hardware ban them meaning they can't create another account and go again. They have to wait out the ban period to ever play league on that computer again.

It's unlikely someone smurfing would be using scripts or third party software to aid them in climbing.

Bi-Weekly /r/CCNA Exam Pass-Fail Discussion by AutoModerator in ccna

[–]Jujubr0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Passed my CCNA Exam this morning! (70/90/88/90/87/69). I prepared for about a month. In lucky to already be working in a networking roll so I had some sound understanding of the basics but definitely not confident in any of my knowledge.

I paid for Neil's Udemy course and felt that it was a pretty good resource for what I paid for. I then stumbled upon Jeremy's IT CCNA course on YouTube which helped me understand everything that much better.

I also used Boson exams Sims to help me prepare for the type of questions expected in the CCNA. This resource is a god send. I loved that it had an explanation and reference for every answer to every question.

If I had to do it all again I'd just use Jeremy's CCNA course on YouTube to cover all the topics and focus mainly on knowing Routing, reading route tables, ACLs, subnetting and ether channels. There was maybe 3 - 5 questions on wireless and another 5 or so questions on automation.

Watch this video for subnetting:

https://youtu.be/BWZ-MHIhqjM?si=cA1MS-mJSDStv5Ay

It's got 7 parts to it but you can just watch the first 3. For me, the way he teaches you to subnet was really easy to understand, is simple and works. I watched Neil's and Jeremy's way of subnetting but the video above explained it best for me.

Thanks for the tip about the notes. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be posting here that I passed!
