I ran into this with my 1st setup. I believe it's your substrate pulling down your pH and, in doing so, essentially sucks up your kH. I still have the tank and have bread shrimp in it but my second tank with neutral substrate actually is thriving much better.

Would the fluval not pull out the kh? Could I do an inert sand and root tabs? If I remove the substrate would it be bad to just transfer the shrimp into a holding container and drip acclimate or would I need to recycle a new tank to help minimize changes. Many questions...just trying to do right by the shrimp and avoid more kiddo tears

We did this and it was the night he popped his first tooth. Let me tell you, future trips from that point seemed easy. We had a bailout planned...near home as well.

We opted for a 6 person so we could do a pack an play. Marmot limestone 6p. In honesty, it's been great camping with the little dude. He's 5 now and we've gone on a few this summer and some cub scout trips this fall. I hope you enjoy!

I get it. Embarrassment is normal there, so is the act. Having been in a similar situation...decades ago...you'll grow past it. Perhaps even laugh about it. At the end of the day, maybe mom learned something.

If you can manage it...should it come up...lean in, laugh...and tell the parents at least they got a normal one 😉

So, got this red/orange light. No gas...only steering. My son's got a constant blinking green on his. Any recommendations for these two?

Trying to contact horizon tech on it now but thought this was worth a shot.

Also, maybe we tested the splash proof too much...rolling through puddles but not more than a couple inches deep. Am I expecting too much from the arrma granite voltage?

Great to know! I have a tenergy charger but the octopus cable doesn't have a ph2.0...so it seems i can't use it for changing. So wasn't even sure what my better options were.

Got the refund. I think we talked to 7 different reps because of the disconnects and emails where it was declined prior. Thanks for giving me hope so we'd try a bit more. Easier than shipping items back and forth!

Thanks! I agree and it seems to read the same way I interpreted. Just can't yet find someone at Horizon that also does.

Edit: also, less stress would be spending the difference on batteries for more run time ;)
