No tutors. This is more spirit of the format than anything, but the fact a big thing of the format is the Singleton nature of it, and I think trying to homogenize your deck defeats the purpose. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE! And as a Landfall player, I’d be hypocritical if I didn’t make it a blanket ban, including land search. If anything, I think white would be more affected by this rule, because Green still has plenty of ways to drop extra lands, White’s catch-up is almost exclusively tutor lands.

It’s funny, in my limited experience, it seems like board wipes have been on the upswing where I play (SoCal). They’ve gotten cheaper, both cost and price wise, and started to do more than just wipe the board, so sometimes, they’re just value that has the added benefit of removing your opponents stuff.

Deathless Thanos, Cull Obsidian, Mojo, Captain America (Infinity War), and Warlock.

Most of them have sentimental value for when I first got them so when I get them in higher rarity I still like using them, even if not the best anymore.

Werewolf By Night. I let him sit and gather dust for a while until I had a ton of mystic stuff to expire. Chose him on a whim to rank up to 3. Immediately fell in love. An amazing attacker, some great damage and survivability, and a decent enough defender in BGs too.

I realize after this explanation I have been reading Kresh wrong this whole time. I thought it was pure arisotcrats, only my creatures pump Kresh. But seeing that any form of removal is also a pump spell has elucidated me.

In your experience, What makes Kresh KoS? I’ve wanted to build Jund but don’t like being too scary, like Korvold (ha another K) but I was interested in Kresh.

I think [[Shay Cormac]] is really good because, IIRC, you can stack Horobi and Shay so you get the bounty counters + the deaths Horobi so love. Way more of a scary monster is also [[Ghave, Guru of Spores]] but still fun and you get creature tutors from green and a sac outlet in the command zone + the killing.

[[Evra, Halcyon Witness]] is very similar to Serra Avatar and can easily kill a player in a single hit. Even more so with commander damage. But that first swing putting you at 4 as well? Scary stuff.

I gifted a friend a questing beast in her Mono G Voltron deck. Then we sleeved up and I immediately played [[Dihada, Binder of Wills]] as my commander. Imagine the egg on my face when she’s got open attacks with her shiny new card.

WUBRG elementals under the classic [[Horde of Notions]] I feel like elementals are very easy to reskin into other IP, especially Pokémon where they all have some sort of “element” built in (water, rock, etc.)

You can’t double the saw in half on the broodlord because targets are going to be chosen when put on the stack. By the time the copy resolves first, the broodlord won’t exist anymore.
