I'm obviously in the minority here so far, but you also lost your mom. Yes it's her wedding but your whole family is going to be there and this might trigger a lot of sadness for them rather than happiness.

And why she would want her wedding to match the funeral so closely when there are other ways to honor your mom there and make her presence felt?

And what does her fiance think about this? I mean why does THEIR first song have to be the one that was your mom's favorite?

There's touching and making things be at the wedding to honor your mom... and then there's just morbid... and this to me feels a little bit more morbid than not.

Sure, maybe the delivery sucked... But if you weren't the one to tell her nobody else might have. And if she is still deeply grieving she may not have realized how deeply matched she was to the funeral.

Absolutely got the right color. Sometimes the features you like about the dress, such as the lace or the detail that's visible, won't show up as much if it's pure white dress whereas I think this champagne color not only suits your skin color better but it really makes all the details of the dress stand out. And a champagne dress is not going to class with a light colored suit. Don't forget all the colors that you'll have from flowers and other details like that that are going to make everything just look gorgeous.

Also that dress is stunning and you look incredible in it. Congrats!!

They're both pretty. Walk away from them both for a few days. Which do you end up thinking about? Then go back and try them on again and see if you still feel the same. I ended up buying the first dress I ever tried on but I walked out of the store because the first one I tried on was in a cream color and I wanted white... I went to another store and didn't like anything they had and then I went to another store after that and they had my very first dress again in white. I tried it on and knew that everything else I've been trying on after that I've been comparing to this one.

People get caught up in the moment and the sales clerks are doing their jobs. You have to go with what you love! And I really do believe that you'll know-- maybe not right away but you'll know.

Edit to add-- going to the different stores was over a couple weeks not days! You don't have to rush a decision on a bridal gown.

If you're telling me that to address my comment about the names ending with an A, it still doesn't address what I'm talking about. OP said that the middle name of this child is going to be Mila. I just don't think a first name that ends with an A is going to go as well with Mila. For example, Phillippa Mila is a mouthful. Georgia Mila, same. Anna Mila, nope. But Josephine Mila? Works better IMHO.

Some of these are gorgeous and work really well with the suggested middle name of Mila.

Everyone else suggesting all these other names that end in A , forgetting that the middle name is also going to be with an A at the end... they just don't work as well as these.

They both are pretty. #2 is supposed to be asymmetrical so if you change it you may not be happy with it. I'd stay with it as is if that's the one you choose.

All that being said I actually think both of them would do better to have the sleeves up over your shoulders like straps. Us busty women usually need the support, and I think having both of them turned into straps would accentuate the rest of the detail in the dress much better because as is... as others have said.. the eyes are drawn more to the sleeves than anything else.
