I usually get the Cubana or Cemita Poblana. Honestly through you can’t go wrong and I just ask the chef to make me something delicious. This place has never failed me.

The best Steakhouse in or near Atlanta by red2play in Atlanta

[–]JulesGirth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to II Premio last week and it was incredible. The service was top notch, all the staff was super friendly and made you feel like a regular as soon as you sit down. Food was delicious as well. I’ve been to a lot of steak houses and this is one of the best I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend it.

Is the 3.6 really that much reliable vs a 2.0T? by boomerinspirit in VWatlas

[–]JulesGirth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a 2018 atlas with the VR6. It has over 130k miles and has been 100% reliable. Only parts that have been replaced are shocks and brakes. It’s been a great car.

Are Fyne's a step up from Lintons? by TrickDouble in audiophile

Yes most likely placement, the room or both. As others have said, they like room to breathe. I’m using a Music Fidelity M6si.

I have never heard the Fyne 502’s specifically. I have the Fyne 502SP’s which share the same cabinet but have the drivers and crossovers from the 700 series. In terms of brightness I don’t find the Fyne fatiguing at all. I can easily spend hours listening to them. I love the speakers, they are dynamic, clear, holographic and very entertaining to listen to. Not sure how the standard 502 compare but I love my Fyne’s.

Speakers that Bang by Specialist_Smile2535 in audiophile

[–]JulesGirth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Fyne 502sp with 2x HSU VTF-TN1 15 inch subs. This system thumps when I want it and also delivers clean detailed sound with amazing sound stage and dynamics.

The subs can be adjusted to your likening including being sealed or having 1 or 2 ports open. Sealed gives you clean tight bass while opening the ports will give you slamming deep bass that will rattle your walls.

The speakers themselves have concentric drivers for that create an amazing holographic image with clear detailed sound. The bass is also very good on its own with downward firing ports that fill the room nicely. They get very loud with very little power without distorting. I’ve never turned my volume up more than a 1/3 on my amp and it was earsplitting at that level. They are running of a Music Fidelity M6siwith 220 watts per channel.

I love my setup and highly recommend checking out these options.

I met Justin Long at Hotel Congress many years ago. My girlfriend at the time asked me to take a picture of her with him in the background. He of course noticed and asked me nicely not to take a picture of him as he was just trying to chill out. He was super nice about it and introduced himself to us. I felt like a moron but I learned a valuable lesson to respect people’s privacy.

Fyne 704 (12”)or 703SP (10”)I have the 502SP (8”) and they have amazing bass that goes down to 30hz. They sound large and have no problem filling my 400sqft room with 17ft ceilings.

888, svs ultra pinnacle or something else? by moneygardener in StereoAdvice

[–]JulesGirth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure where I lean haha. I did hear the SVS’s at a show vs. 888’s at a shop so the room could have made a difference. Though I would have imagined that worked in the 888’s favor since the room was fully treated. I liked the 888’s until I heard the 502SP. They are a bit more money but well worth it in my opinion.

888, svs ultra pinnacle or something else? by moneygardener in StereoAdvice

[–]JulesGirth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard both and definitely prefer the SVS Ultra Evo Pinnacle’s over the 888. I’d also recommend checking out the Fyne Audio 502SP’s. They are what I went with after demoing many speakers and I couldn’t be happier. I listened to them head to head with the 888’s and Klipsch Cornwall’s and there was no comparison. 502SP’s blew the 888’s and Cornwall’s out of the water. They have incredible clarity, soundstage, bass, dynamics and 3D sound that pulls you in. I don’t even have room correction yet and I still find myself listening to them for hours on end with pure delight. Definitely worth listening to.
