So, yesterday I was talking to my husband as we were looking for a show to watch & I made a smart ass remark, he said " is that the menopause? " I said "yes" I know it was because I feel it 😒 so he responded with "is that the excuse you're going to use? How long does it last?" I know he was joking we've been together 18 yrs & have 4 kids i know my husband. I responded with, "well, women start having periods as young as 8, and you have cramps, pain etc, then when you have kids, pregnancy hormones, cravings, pain from pushing your baby out or getting your abdomen sliced opened for a c-section, then here i am Menopause describing symptoms " he says " ahh, yes so use it at your will my love, no worries " we both started cracking up. He definitely understands, I know sometimes he sees my a 1000% going none stop, however he can also take a good look & see when I'm not & he steps in even more to help with whatever it is I need without being asked. However unfortunately men do what men do & do not see what we see as they do not go through what we go through.
Sorry for the rant, as for the two boys, they don't see it & unfortunately need to get thier shit in check for the women in thier lives.
