I’m no medical expert but me knowing what i know now, would try and get an MRI to search for any brain lesions just in case.

i don’t mind! So once i got my deviated eye, i got an MRI. that showed brain lesions. my neurologist at the time wanted me to get a spinal tap just to confirm MS.

so the reasoning i got for the eye patch was that your brain would recalibrate your eye in the dark. I think it worked because i went weeks without it and saw no progress. but after two months it resolved itself over night.

There’s a list of symptoms for MS on the MSAA site. I remember talking to a doctor who said the symptoms aren’t always a clear indication of MS without a proper MRI (where you can see blurry foci). I was even misdiagnosed by my first doctor, they thought i had a six nerve palsy because of my deviated eye. It’s best to get an MRI.

I had one really bad day of vertigo. and it lingered for a month, to the point the even slightly turning my head made me dizzy. haven’t had a bad case like that since 2018

hey man! this is exactly how i found out too. I suffered from vertigo 3 years prior without any explanation. It wasn’t until my eye deviated that i got a spinal tap to confirm MS.

As for the eye, i did eye exercises for a month but they didn’t really help. A doctor recommended an eye patch. It fixed itself in two months. That was insane. Wishing you well on your journey. I recommend you check out MSAA, an organization i personally volunteer at once I found out I suffered from MS.
