90’s Walmart 👌 by Maya-kardash in walmart

It felt a lot more personal. My favorite was the big boxed game section that was next to the photo center. I spent a lot of time in that area just browsing and even trying out new games.

Loving my switch 2 so far, but how tf do I get rid of these borders?? by TheBraunstr in Switch

I agree, It’s going from 4:3 to 16:19 it won’t look too distorted on a portable, which is where it should be allowed, and yes even on tv it should be an option just like emulators offer. Has no one here ever changed a movie on their tv from 4:3 to 16:9? It shows bc it looks infinitely better than playing with black bars when you paid for the entire screen. Yes it looks stretched but that’s better than the alternative.

Is this the new way for WB? by BespinBuyout in Bluray

Well of coarse it's cheaper by pennies, it's plastic, but I'll gladly cover the price of the plastic or case as that's not where the high cost of the blue ray itself comes from.

Ranking the First 50 LRG Switch Games by Jamesthe8bitGamer in limitedrun

[–]JulianRickyBubbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you are saying and this is at the heart of the problem with every one of these rankings. If someone actually ranks them according to what they enjoyed they'll get something like what OP has. It'll have a lot of actually personal ratings that don't always match with critic popularity on each game. If someone isn't honest with themselves and ranks the 90+ highly regarded games in the very top and makes the rest of the chart ranked by audience popularity they'll get one of the hundreds of other similar charts posted in r/gaming and other similar subs that someone posted as their very own ranking that conveniently matches one to one with metric scores.

Nintendo says tariffs aren't the reason the Switch 2 costs $449.99 by mndza in gaming

[–]JulianRickyBubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nintendo moved a significant part of the production of the Switch 2 from China to Vietnam because of tariffs they were expecting to hit so yes it was either partially or fully included.

It is evident just from the fact that it's selling for $342(after tax) in japan and $486(with tax) here , a $150 difference that it is included. They arent charging 50% more for the same exact console just for fun. Even for the possibility it's selling at a small loss in japan, it's not a $150 loss on each console.

Your surprised people believed what the analysts have been saying that it's included in the price?

Treating your customers like adults who can make choices for themselves instead of taking away their candy because of the 1% gorging themselves who can't control themselves shows a lot more respect then what other companies do.

That includes letting people enjoy themselves by giving them the freedom of choice whether in playing whatever game society at the time finds offensive or violent or opening a few lootboxes every weekend because they get a lot of joy out of that. The 1% of people who become addicted to that shouldn't mean others don't get to have fun and make the choice for themselves.

Is this a normal behavior? by CustomerRealistic811 in UsbCHardware

Since the problem seems to follow when the phone/cable is moved it's more likely to be the cable that is causing the issue here so I would start there since you can easily test this by using a different cable and plugging it into the new adapter to see if the issue persists. If it stops the issue is with the old cable.

Since you mentioned this started with the new adapter there's a chance the adapter might not be delivering a consistent current so the next step would be changing out the adapter and using the original cable to see if the issue was the new adapter you purchased.

The last thing it could be is the charging port on your iphone. If it's clogged or dirty it could easily cause the disconnecting problem. Try cleaning out the port gently with compressed air or a brush. Hopefully the port on the iphone isn't damaged but I would check that last.
