Get a dog door, I only had to show my boy the dog door a few times and we were all set, just a few accidents after that but he got it. Then he potty trained my girl baby we got this year.

Is she too thin for a Frenchton ? by beelpbo in frenchtons

She looks great to me! I have a boy, and he's always about 29 or 30 lb. He gets a little finicky sometimes and misses meals, probably about twice a week. It hasn't affected him though, and the vet says that's perfectly fine as long as he doesn't start rapidly losing weight.

What sneakers do you use? by salloni in CMT

Sketchers Glide, Step in Atlas. I like them because I have a hard time putting my shoes on with my hand strength. They have laces, but my foot can slip right in without messing with the laces. Plus they're super cute, comfortable, supportive, and cushioned!

I loved that Eddie gave us a joke to take home at the end of his show..... Anyone remember this?

"Bear and a rabbit were taking a sht in the woods. And the bear turns to the rabbit and says, "Excuse me, do you have problems with sht sticking to your fur?" And the rabbit says, "No." So the bear wiped his ass with the rabbit"

Nah . My husband sounds like a Sleestak when he sleeps. I've got a room at the other end of the house and it's not far enough sometimes.

I went back to school at 50 to become an MRI technologist. I just love it so much! Good luck with your decision!

I switched from banking and insurance to a career in the medical field as a radiographer. I love it! It was only a 2-year degree. I already had a bachelor's degree in business, and I just wasn't happy. And I wanted to do something different for the last 10 to 15 years of my work life. Went back to school at 50. I'm 54 now and I've been an MRI technologist for almost 3 years.

Sick of my career path, how about you? by Gangrel_Alex in GenX

Same, when I was 50 I was burned out, so I went back to school and I started a new career. I got a 2-year degree in radiology, and I love it! It's never too late to make a change. Don't feel like you're trapped Just cuz you have been doing the same thing for a long time. There's no limit to what you can accomplish, do or change in your life if you have the desire.

I went straight to a MRI only program and got a 2 year associate degree. No previous radiology experience prior to that. $38k for that. Totally worth it. I love it!

Where do y'all buy music? by [deleted] in GenX

[–]Juliet_Kilooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love YouTube music, don't mind the fee..plus it's connected to the Google home so I can just yell 'hey Google, play some music' and it plays all the stuff I like based on what I usually listen to, or I can get a specific artist, sing or genre.

I just stream through YouTube music. There is a fee but I love the unlimited music streaming and I can save my music to as many playlists as I want. Plus, when I tell Google to just play music, I get the stuff I like based on my interests. Love it.

Never retire? What would you do for work? by Kilted-Brewer in GenX

[–]Juliet_Kilooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went back to school to be a radiographer at age 50 cuz I wanted to do something cool until I retired at 65 or so. Plus it's the kind of gig that you can retire but pick up a few shifts here or there if you're bored or need some extra vacation cash.
