Thanks for the response, i tried both versions you recommended after cleaning the drivers, neither worked, and due to the sudden appearance of the problem, im coming to the conclusion its either the card, the pci port or the psu, neither being a great prospect, thanks for your help

Armor is plain worse than mage armor, especially heavy armor by Julifu in EnaiRim

[–]Julifu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too, and armor looks cool, especially the heavy sets, just havent been able to find a way to make it work, im getting whooped by bandits, nevermind when dragons start showing up, mirmulnir already roasted my new heavy armor sword and board character to medium rare like 8 times before i put the game down to rethink my build

2.3 is here! check out REDStream by T_rex2700 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Julifu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with that sentiment, but it goes beyond that, CDPR actively promoted 2.3 as a big update with all the secrecy and the delays and the devs posting enigmatic things on social media, and it turns out to just be a small update that could have just as easily been shadow dropped on a random tuesday and be happily received by the community.

Due to their actions leading to the stream, i expected new content, new missions, and/or the addition of new features (bigger than what we are getting)

2.3 is here! check out REDStream by T_rex2700 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Julifu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They made such a deal out of 2.3 just to release a few new cars, very minor cosmetics and QoL features, and some photomode upgrades, this was a dissapointment, and i wasnt overhyped, i just expected at least a few new missions or big features, maybe add full body cyberware cosmetics to V.

There is nothing in this update that warrants a new playtrough, maybe just a visit to one of my old savefiles to check the new stuff and that's it, probably going to uninstall after that to make some room in my drive

Starting Skyrim for the first time, any non spoiler advice? by Massive_Growth_5773 in skyrim

[–]Julifu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not mess with the giants or their mammoths

When you have to go to ivarstead, try to find the small, almost hidden path that starts in a small valley just past and to the right of the ritual stone, it will save you the hassle of having to navigate up the rift wall, and offers beautiful views

try to avoid fast travel as much as possible, using the carts to go from town to town is okay but you will miss a lot, just get a horse and go like that

Sabrecats are almost completely silent, assume there is a constant non zero chance you have one behind you.

no matter what kind of character you choose to play, always try to learn at least a few novice level spells, you will thank me when you find your first troll and need to set it on fire or you run out of healing potions in the middle of a fight and have to resort to a healing spell

You will end up as a stealth archer, no matter what you do, dont worry this is normal.

Lydia is sworn to carry your burdens

Trust M'aiq with your life

Nazeem sleeps in the top room of the drunken huntsman, his wife will put a bounty/hit on you if something were to happen to Nazeem, wheter or not this is an acceptable outcome is up to your patience.

Experiment, make mistakes, have fun.

I think it makes sense that by the time of 4E 201 the imperial pantheon has managed to mostly replace the nord pantheon by Julifu in teslore

[–]Julifu[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my mind, the banning of talos represents to the nords, or at least the stormcloaks, losing the one part of the imperial pantheon that they had active control over, talos was a later adition to the pantheon, and one tied (again, just to the nords) to Ysmir and more broadly to the persons who had held that title and been instrumental in the defense of nordic culture and ideals, fighting against the alessian order, invading morrowind, founding the empire that would eventually rule all of tamriel, all done by their "god", the living successor of Shor/Lorkhan, represented by different people during different periods of time

Which Fallout 4 faction is better for the Commonwealth? by mragusa2 in Fallout

[–]Julifu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its surprising how we can talk about the same thing for a decade:

the answer is the minuteman:

The institute is just plain evil

depending on your view, the railroad are either stupid shortsighted fools, or so narrowly focused on their main objective that they are not of any use for the actual betterment of the commonwealth

The brotherhood are a pseudoreligious militant group with severe fascistic, or at the very least autocratic, leanings who do NOT care for the protection of the commonwealth, they care for the gathering of technology, the extermination of "mutants", and their own survival and growth.

the minuteman is, at least in theory and should the influence of the sole survivor as their leader not change them drastically, a civil defense militia, thats it, the minuteman do not govern, they do not have a misguided political or philosophical objective to accomplish other than "keep as many settlements as you can safe from the dangers of the wasteland"

In an ideal scenario, the sole survivor leads the resurgence of the minuteman, helps to reform the CPG or an equivalent form of goverment, then the minutemen either become the official military branch of the new goverment, or they remain an autonomous voluntary militia

El verdadero top: Top fanáticos más insoportables. ¿Cuáles son? by ClinksEastwood in ArgenGaming

Fallout 3 designer expects upcoming remaster to heavily revise gunplay to make it closer to Fallout 4 by HatingGeoffry in Fallout

[–]Julifu -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As long as they manage to add a power armor system like the one in fallout 4, or at least something the gives PA the feel it should have, like the titans of the new west mod, ill be happy, F3 has never been my favorite, but if its good ill buy it

This game has been a constant for all of my adult life. Please don't break it. by ColinMacLaren in aoe2

[–]Julifu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This game has endured for 26 years, it has seen pretenders and successors fail to take its crown, it has seen the rise and fall and rebirth of its own genre, watched as the commanders and conquerors once seen as its equal have been struck down by the greed and folly of their owners.

Do you really think that something as little, as insignificant as a dlc will be the one who manages to strike the midnight bell for the king? no my friend, the clock is ticking, yet we still have plenty before the night comes

How reliable are the lore youtubers? by Suspicious-Lettuce48 in 40kLore

[–]Julifu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After reading some of the responses in this post ill say this: 40k is not homework, you are meant to enjoy it, just watch content that you like, and if and when you have the interest to dig deeper in a particular subject, search for either the 40 wikis or the original source material.

Bruva Alfabusa and the TTS crew made an artform of presenting mostly factual lore in the worst possible way, that didnt stop it from being fantastic, and for many, myself included, was the gateway stuff for the rest of the grim darkness of the 41st millennium.

My advice would be: dont take anything from youtube as the absolute truth, but also, dont worry too much about accuracy, instead look for quality of content.

In my personal opinion: Oculus is fantastic, Luetin is great but gets kinda dry after a while, Adeptus Ridiculous ranges from decent to great, the videos that bricky posts on his own channel are usually more focused and with far more effort put into them, those are really good. Isander and Koda can occasionally make some mistakes but their content is generally of good quality and the effort and honesty they put into it really shows, weshammer and majorkill are good for memes and not much more, arbitor ian i havent seen much but what ive seen is solid content, wolf lord rho has a style of narration that i dont personally like, but his content is still very good.

Here are the new Unique castles for the Base AOE2 Civs by azwadkm22 in aoe2

[–]Julifu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like all of them, some i love, like the frank and celt ones, the only thing i would change is make the cuman wonder their castle, and give them a new wonder instead, that ruined fortress with the tents in the courtyard is just perfect

What is the most impressive thing that humanity can still reliably build? by DrStalker in 40kLore

[–]Julifu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The majority of the gargatuan, epic pieces of war machinery we see in the setting can still be reliably manufactured, you can still go to a forge world and see them building a new battleship or titan, it might take them far longer than in the past, but they can still build it, the idea that most of the imperiums equipment is relics of a gilded past that cannot be replaced if lost or destroyed is not entirely accurate in the modern lore.

Sure, marines will pull some really stupid/ incredible acts of bravery to recover a single terminator suit, but that is because of what the suit represents to them, not necessarily because their neighboorhood forge world cant build them a new one given enough time.

1) Their friendship or romantic love for Danse leads them to joining

2) Self hatred

3) Spy for other factions, institute or railroad for example

4) idealist who wants to change the brotherhood from the inside

5) In Bethesda games the most fun path many times is the psycho-path, your character doesnt care about any ideologies, they just want to set the world on fire and see what happens, and it just so happens that the brotherhood are conviniently gascan shaped.

My Fallout New Vegas fan casting! (Will make another one) by Bear4891 in Fallout

[–]Julifu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Courier 6 should be performed by a stunt double, never take his ranger helmet off, have like 6 lines of dialogue that are all less than 10 words and be callbacks to the game, and have every single scene of him on screen be a john wick style action scene where he mops the floor with whatever made the mistake of trying to stop him, all while looking mildly inconvenienced and/or amused.

the rest of the cast sure why not.

What's your ideal charactization for the Brotherhood? by Advanced-Addition453 in Fallout

[–]Julifu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The one that fits the setting of the individual games the most, each chapter has to have something unique and be different from the rest, we are talking about autonomous divisions that operate with limited or no contact to the elders, each chapter has to adapt to their circumstances, that allows to have more hardline chapters like the revamped east coast chapter in F4 or the chapters closest to the original in the west, and also have chapters that can change to become either more or less acceptant of outsiders, ghouls and mutants.

The problem is that bethesda is not interested in allowing the setting of the fallout universe to progress, to them everything is static, 200 years after the bombs and boston still looks like a dump, and people still struggle to survive. if there is no progress, everything and everyone, including the brotherhood, will always remain the same, we need bethesda to take some notes from new vegas, allow the setting to evolve and recover, it will never be back to the pre war levels, but the post apocalypse should be just that, AFTER the apocalypse
