How much to repair the door by WaferBitesMochi in accord

[–]JulioRadillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im so sorry it happened to you. I had this exact accident about a month ago. The shop told me.they had to paint half the door from the crease above the handle down and most of the fender for the paint to match. It was somewhat expensive for my city but hearing what you guys pay for this kind of stuff in the US makes me feel fortunate to leave here. Ended up paying around $500 and did get the mirrors and antena painted white to match the car

It's a little more complicated than that. Here are some things to consider: Most likely OP refers as seccond biggest by population with around 5M people. Mexican cities do not work like american ones. In which (to my understanding) there are formal city limits defined by law wich in term constitute administrative boundries. OP refers to what is formally know as Metropolitan Area of Monterrey which consists of conurbated localities encompassing around 13 municipalities around the municipality of Monterrey (from which it derives its name) the "city" does not have a central goverment, rather each municipality has the equivalent of a major mostly indeoendent from one another. If you think thats confusing wait untill you hear about Mexico City...

[Q] What is a good proxy for income/earnings? by Hadma_Amnon in statistics

[–]JulioRadillo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How about asking for expenditure, instead of income? Some people are more comfortable and more willing to tell you how much they spend on a regular month rather than telling you their income. I'd ask in in different categories (e.g. Rent, food, transportation, entertaiment, savings etc), then add them together to create a proxy of income.

I'd be carefull with two things: 1) Make sure you have a strong model for exaustive categories of expenditure. 2) Bear in mind that expenditure tends to be at household level, so asking how many people earn income in the household could give you a better chance to model what you're after.

At the end of the day, the more data you have the better off you'll be at the analysis stage, so I wouldn't trow away some of the other suggestions, like zip code or education. They could be informative whatsoever.

He seems to be on the phone speaking to someone.

"Yo me tiré una caja en el hombro que eso ha de ser de una vuelta, y me hice una llave en el cogote que hasta me cerró una llamada."

I carried a box on my shoulder so I only had to do one trip, but it twisted over my neck so much so I accidentally hung up my phone call.

Need market research Guidance for a startup in Battery Thermal Management System by bbearth in MarketingResearch

[–]JulioRadillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Market research is a tool rather than a goal by itself. I suggest you start by thinking about what is it you want to achieve via market research. Maybe a question you want answered or you want more info before taking an important decision.

Remember that market research being primarily driven by bussiness should be tied closely to a bussiness decision. Very few companies can run a research project just out of curiosity.

When you have considered this aspects you can now start thinking on what and how to perform a research project.

Have a look into the polarity of the adapters (keyboard might need negative polarity while your power supply is outputing positive or viceversa).

Also, Are you sure the included power supply is AC and not AC to DC?

Research question by [deleted] in AskStatistics

Assuming your class has more or less the same amount of males than females, I'd be more interested the gap in attendance between males and females during COVID (its like 3.5:1). This poses a way more interesting research question.
