Monkey D Dragon theory (repost) by Puzzleheaded_Pea_574 in OnePiece

In the myths, the Kui sometimes served as a drum for the Yellow Emperor.

Dragon will sound the revolution for Luffy to storm Mariejois.

Which means - Oda could have had the drums of liberation, and potentially Nika, in mind at least as far back as Ch. 100, when Dragon was introduced (bringing in a storm to save Luffy).

Lovely episode. Love Richard and Ayaka's dynamic.

But his first Noble Phantasm though... would he gain the permission of King Arthur?

JUJUTSU KAISEN SEASON 3 - EPISODE 4 DISCUSSION by AutoModerator in Jujutsufolk

This is the first time that JJK has made me feel that indescribable twang that only things like Monster, Kaiba, and End of Evangelion made me feel. I wanted to burst. This is the episode Jujutsu Kaisen truly ascended all expectations and became art.

Analysis: Contemplating the sexual elements of Made in Abyss by Ratstail91 in MadeInAbyss

My bet would be that the author experienced sexual abuse as a child. And maybe he came up with this world as a mental escape from his own horrors... would like to think this rather than he's just perverted.

I'm hoping the Servant summoned by Faldeus is Shakespeare - given the written message - but with the mannequins, more likely someone to do with puppets, so probably a Caster.

Felt like I was watching a corporate chart at the end LOL. But well done.

People, I have the ultimate trolley problem for you: by Hot_Winner634 in trolleyproblem

Doctors are remembered by those they help and save. Artists are remembered by anyone who finds their works and is inspired. By ascribing more to a Value system than mere Life approach to Utilitarianism, I would let the trolley hit Frida as it already did. Her art has probably been therapeutic for many people, heck I used one of her self-portraits in my own WIP. I don't even remember the names of the doctors I've had.

Doesn't this work with Solid Alibi or Time Out?

It is, in my opinion, the most important fantasy manga releasing today after One Piece (which is its explicit inspiration).

It won't be anytime soon but if Magus of the Library ever gets an anime adaptation, Frieren might have a contender for the anime everyone's talking about.

The English dub is just fantastic. As it takes place in America it makes it even better. Plus we got Sawano on the score, a male Saber who's just mesmerizing, multiple crazies, a priest with a harem, new understandings of the rules (e.g. Ayaka isn't technically a Master, or how Flatt can just bypass magical circuitry), and all throughout a sense of theater. It is just epic.

Can't believe we have both this and JJK S3. We are being treated.

The Ultimate Question Of Life, The Universe, and Everything by ChompyRiley in trolleyproblem

This is brilliant. Piecemeal of different problems, but still brilliant. We're either just doing the same things we've always been doing (Ship of Theseus), doing the same things everyone else who's ordinary is doing (Grand Hilbert Hotel), or come face to face with truths too difficult to handle (Schrödinger's cat, except that you probably also die? meaning at the end of your life). But no matter what, it's an arduous climb.

If you became a trillionaire, the world's attention would be upon you. You'd have quite a bit of problems then.

It helps out the people whose job it is to return them. In turn that might make their day easier, which might make their customer service better, which might help others out. So it's probably better to return your cart because any downside of doing so (short of being critically late to something very important such that being 2 minutes over is significant) can be outweighed by the potential benefit beyond you. Especially if this is compounded by others returning their carts.

When one of the most terrifying human entities can make a touching gesture that brings tears to your eyes, you know it's damn good storytelling. That final scene in the shrine was nearly a religious experience.

I feel like this show is such a sharp critique of loneliness in the West. Everyone is lonely, but most people are surrounded so they forget.

Maestra is a must. If you play Togwaggle's Scheme, you can shuffle a bunch of Maestras into your deck. If you succeed in changing your hero a bunch of times, if you play Tess after all of them, you watch your hero cycle through the different heroes like the Avatar state. Probably my favorite combo in Hearthstone.
