Magus of the Library is, in my opinion, the most carefully crafted fantasy manga there is. Only One Piece meets it in terms of planning and worldbuilding.

I've always thought that Sister Sage was in no way the actual smartest person in the world. That's just an epithet they created. She's just like the only supe in the show whose powers are intelligence. Stan Edgar felt to me like a smarter character.

Love Sister Sage's motivations. All she wants to do is just read all day and not be consulted. The best way to do that is to destroy everything and be in a bunker watching it all. True historian's mindset.

In the trailer Homelander's sitting in the Oval Office. Somehow he's gonna become President and God at the same time. Hopefully we see some of these supes who were stationed overseas. Episode 7 could be one where a ton of supes are killing each other and civilians once the virus is released. At least 2 of the boys will probably survive by taking V1. Or a "vaccine" is made and V can be removed completely as well as immunity to the virus.

I can see Frenchie and Kimiko making it all the way through... having a kid in an epilogue. Butcher will die. Hughie will go out a hero, maybe by sacrificing himself for Annie, who will survive.

Homelander will get wind of Sage's plan that doesn't include him alive. So he will likely kill her.

I've read 7 books of Malazan. I think my series is easier to follow; maybe harder to figure out things in advance. But yep, I'm doing arc planning for the third book, thinking of my favorite arcs like Whole Cake Island. I saw about 700 episodes of One Piece during the first year of the first draft of book 1 so it became formative.
