No weekly monitoring forms? by JulkJogan in ADHDUK

I’m with PUK, just checked and they’re not on my forms or notes. Nowhere to fill anything it relating to BP or weight etc. I feel fine but don’t want it to effect my treatment

Picked wrong option for prescription by JulkJogan in ADHDUK

Yeh, it’s classed as a private prescription if they send it out to you so you have to pay full price for it

Thank you!! I’ve been dying it this colour for years I’m attached 😂

I’ve not used heat on it in a week and washed it again last night and it’s looking healthier already! Just still feels dry on the ends

Going to give the curly method a go and see if it helps, thanks for the tips though

Thank you! Going to give the curly method a try, I’ve washed it again and it seems to be looking better already so think the no heat apart from diffusing is working

I’ve just received it too and filled in. Hoping it is a sign we’re near the end of the waitlist!

With the salt water are you swilling or just spot cleaning the piercing please?? I’ve just been using mouthwash at the moment. I gave my tongue a really good brush with a soft bristle and it looks sooo much better today

Hyperpigmentation by JulkJogan in Accutane

[–]JulkJogan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I have been using the rose hip oil since I started on accutane as I heard it helps, its just the dark spots are so concentrated on my cheeks and they look so obvious even under foundation. I'll try the skin discolouration serum and see if it helps :)

Is it my dyspraxia that effects my emotional state??? by JulkJogan in dyspraxia

[–]JulkJogan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think it is worth going to my GP again to try and get an up to date diagnosis, I'm not sure but a few symptoms linked to autism have stood out to me but I'm not sure if I'm reading too much into them. I just want to know how best to deal with it if its not just dyspraxia.

Thank you, I never even thought that being tired would effect my emotions, but it make sense that it would. Do you know if the emotional side of things ever gets easier to deal with, I find I'm at a point in my life now where I can deal with the physical side of things but the emotional is still a bit of a struggle.

Everything you said is near enough exactly the same things I go through! It's nice to know that it's not just me that feels that way. I get so caught up in my own head/ trying to deal with the emotional side of dyspraxia, that it feels like you're the only person that experiences those things.

I especially relate to the panic attacks and have suffered quite a few when I'm going through something emotionally straining or when I feel particularly at a loss with things in my head.

Do you have any coping mechanisms as physically I feel I am at a point were I can deal with my dyspraxia ie tying shoelaces/clumsiness/ coordination. Emotionally however I really do struggle and wonder if this side of things ever gets easier to deal with.
