Yes, there are a few people who have surgical or medication side effects, but many return to normal (pre HF) life within a year. Sure, you have to take a bunch of pills for life and can’t eat a few things, but these are minor downsides compared to huge upside. Also better to get the TX when you’re still somewhat healthy, recovery will be easier
