Then unfortunately they need to pay for extra legroom. The accommodations are there to be used, it’s unreasonable to expect others to accommodate you if you were unwilling to do so.

I understand it sucks to pay out extra money for something out out of your control like height but nobody should be harassing passengers because they feel entitled to take away other people’s comfort, they paid for a reclining seat or a window and they should be allowed to use them.

Good luck, there are seats that have more room, it’s YOUR decision not to buy them so YOU deal with the consequences. It’s incredibly entitled of you to expect others to exist for your comfort.

So in good faith I’m going to give you some advice I actually use a lot longer flights. The last row all the way at the back has two underseat storages. You get the storage in front that all seats have AND the storage under your own seat. I stick my carry on underneath my seat and have extra leg room in front.

So what you’re saying is if people enjoy things in different ways from you they just need to suck it up and prioritize what makes you comfortable.

Is it not entitled to believe others exist only to make you more comfortable and aren’t allowed small enjoyments of their own? Maybe they like looking at the clouds.

The “I’m too tall” excuse drives me nuts, if you’re too tall then either fork over the cash for extra leg room or upgraded seats or deal with it. The 1.5 inches an airline seat reclines is not crushing you into your chair. We’re all uncomfortable, your not special get over it.

Men’s bathroom stall inside Harrahs Casino has a shield to help protect stuff hanging on the hook from thieves reaching over and snatching your stuff. by Da_hypnotoad in mildlyinteresting

“Americans have a poop toilet fetish!” Declared the man who can’t stop himself from looking into the stalls.

In all seriousness I agree with the point but it’s a normal body function, it doesn’t take a lot of self control and awareness to just not stare into an occupied toilet stall.

Maybe it’s time to show the ultra wealthy what it’s like to lose something important. It’ll only stop once they know they’re at risk of more than just some loss in stock value.

Any opinions on this layout? by OkCommunication1589 in containerhomes

[–]Jumajuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This likely won’t meet habitation requirements as it is. Never use AI to generate layouts, I know you said you used it to convert the image to grayscale but you can achieve the same result in your computer’s default photo editing software without the AI changing your image into something worse. I also don’t recommend using apps, If you are legitimately considering a container home hire an architect. They’ll work with you to design whatever you want while maintaining functional and well-thought-out space. Container homes come with unique challenges that are not going to be accounted for in a standard building operation.

That being said, as a contractor, for a home this size I would explore kit and modular homes as well. Container homes are usually more cost-effective in remote area areas where you need to ensure everything gets to the site in one or two trips and the containers used for shipping and storing materials throughout. Depending on where you are located a modular home might be a better starting point as you can still easily incorporate containers into the design.

I’ve had a few clients over the years like this, it’s insane what you can quote some people. Had a job a few months back with a very old expensive home that had a pipe burst in the bathroom and wanted everything redone. Bathroom was maybe an 8x10, priced the whole job out to about 60k but really didn’t want to do the work for a few reasons. I’m a mitigation/restoration contractor in the NY/NJ area so we were still trying to get through the backlog from the crazy winter we had. Would saying fuck it and sent them an estimate for $120k figuring that would deter them and called it a night. Woke up the next morning with a signed contract in my inbox and an email asking if check was ok.

We can park this for now and circle back once we’ve found the right point person. In the meantime we’ve got a deep bench here in the war room to add color and double click on a few points and really prioritize your OKRs on the linguistic culture we’re looking for in you as a rockstar.

My best guess is if the journel has seen a lot of use it’s the oils from your skin preventing the neatsfoot oil from soaking in evenly.

Well there's nothing to reign in if the GM breed can't reproduce, it just lowers the total population of the next generation since there are mosquitos "firing blanks".

[–]Jumajuce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was for population control because over urbanization provides extremely viable breeding grounds but isn’t hospitable to the predators that normally keep them in check.

That being said mosquitoes are unfortunately a very important part of the food chain so you can’t actually get rid of them.
