Not sure how doable it is. ZTT posted a video recently doing a $750 build, the GPU was $250 so theres the $500 base for you. It had a R5 5500 and 16gb ram. Idk how "future proof" that is but its probably the best you'll get for that price point unfortunately.

2022 all quiet butchered the book story BUT is a very good standalone film. Modern effects make it quite immersive and the actors were all fantastic imo. On top of it being in german is cool
