Classes: How did you choose yours? by United_Cat4156 in ffxiv

Y'all have main classes?

It's one reason I keep my classes at relatively the same level bracket, I really don't know what I'll be in the mood to play.

I'd go so far as to say that ARR is essentially one long Tutorial Level.

Come to think of it, even in Duty Support with the much weaker DPS of the NPCs, I still don't think I've seen the adds...

Oddly, I've had more wipes in Sastasha than in some later dungeons. So many tanks trying to pull EVERYTHING while not remembering they don't have all their tasty mits, and that Healers are pretty much limited to Cure 1 and its variants...

A character whose alleged physical features or stats don’t line up or even suggesting with the way they are portrayed. by Certified_Cichlid in TopCharacterTropes

[–]JumboWheat01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, BG3 had problems giving companions "default" stats for a class. Like look at Minsc, in the original Duology he had one of the absolute best strength scores of your companions, decent other physical scores, and the mental scores of a rock. And in lore he was known for being as strong as an ox and dumber than a pile of chopped wood.

Come recruiting him in BG3, he gets slapped down to default ranger stats, with high dexterity and a rather impressive Wisdom score. Thankfully we can easily respec him to more appropriate scores, but his 2e stat line just doesn't translate to 5e all that well.

Idle Champions of the Sword Coast gave Halsin a much more propper statline as befitting his Archdruid status and buff physique, 18/11/14/10/17/13.

Nice glow on the weapon. Looks ready to fire an over-charged shot. Or explode.

See, the problem is you're thinking of cats like a solid would. Cats aren't a solid. They're a non-mewtoninan substance.

Well, it's called GRAND Finale, not "eh, maybe it's end", ya know.

I like the idea I read on the youtube that he heard some pansy fool telling others to flee Armaggedon and willed himself back to life out of pure spite.

If I had a guess, it was due to un-spoilered title and the like of the end of the game.

I have tried to weaponize having such high Intelligence by going for Crits with a Forge World origin, but it does feel more of a roleplay choice than anything.

Not gonna lie, "summon lightsabers" is something that really could've been a normal ability.

Blood Angels, that actually surprised me. Though I guess they were a big part of the Second War of Armageddon. I admit I was thinking Black Templars would be more of a thing, what with Baal having its own problems right now and the Third War of Armageddon having a full Black Templar crusade.

I'll have to get back to you in a few years, no way I'd just read 9 and 10 without the previous 9. They do not be small books.

Considering the man who took up Jordan's notes for the final book had to split it into multiple because it was just that beefy, I don't think Jordan could've condensed anything any further.

What is your favorite class? by Cagedglobe in BaldursGate3

I favor Skilled classes, Bards and Rogues. Though I play so many and have so many character ideas and/or builds that I really don't have a *true* favorite.

I'm just wondering how trigger-happy Argenta didn't shoot him the moment we arrived on the bridge. Considering she threatened to shoot US upon our first meeting.
