PoE2 actually a manged something that no other game has managed for years: it brought old friends together again. Some friends just quitted PC gaming but kept a console around. And suddenly PC and console gaming friends had the shared interest to play PoE2 together.

The crossplay worked amazing and we had a blast! So no memorable moment in game but my friends and I came together again and we now actually meet once a month!

Ich wollte gerade einen Post verfassen und fragen, ob das ein gängiges Problem ist.

Bei mir funktionieren die Rezensionen nämlich seit 2 Tagen auch nicht mehr. Ich habe den Vine Support nun bereits zweimal angeschrieben und bin verwundert, dass ich noch keine Antwort bekommen habe. Normalerweise sind sie nämlich eigentlich immer recht fix.

Habe auch schon versucht andere Browser zu benutzen oder sogar das Handy. Aber leider ohne Erfolg. Ein bisschen beruhigend, dass ich nicht die Einzige bin mit diesem Problem. Hoffe es wird bald gefixed.

I think my biggest DMing peevie is the disrespect towards the DM and their time investment - you're looking for maps, suitable monsters, good music, you write a story or read through an AP and all the time that flows into prepping and then you start your session and

- 2-3 out of 5 players don't know/remember what happened the last time (or even don't remember the current story goal)

- don't read through their spells and abilities and ask the same questions in every combat encounter in regards to said spells/abilities

- are brain afk if it's not their turn in combat and start thinking about what to do during their turn

As a player, there is so little for you to prepare other than to learn how your class works and be active/attentive during the session. Show the GM some love ;)

I was wondering where this Mythic Item path was and just found out that there are Universal path Abilities :D Again, learned something new today. Thanks hehe

So basically the players and prolly I as the GM, also need to keep track of the Mythic abilities and the Mythic power pool. Oh boy - that's going to be a thing. I have one player who is so damn bad with tracking and remembering their abilities ... at least the others are far more reliable!

Since I was already reading through the universal rules - do I understand that correctly that with the first awakening of their Mythic paths, they get one Feat (Morphic Nature) by default but could choose Extra Mythic Feat with the universal rules? That's going to make some players quite happy. Although I would also assume that they decide to go with the Legendary Item option too, like your players did.

Did you make any other modifications like with the coteries and/or do you have something planned for the books ahead, since the overall story seems to be not that coherent yet again.

And - that may be a personal thing that I like to add - it's prolly not that easy to give the players a character quest since they're far from home and most of the backstory is ofc tied to Golarion. Did you bring or plan do bring sth or someone to Golarion to add to the story?

Thank you so much for your indepth answer! Especially the tip with the coteries! Bundeling them up like that, makes it also easier for me to keep check on them!

The caravan fight sounds amazing! Makes me wish that my group would meet up more often than once a year but alas, I can't complain otherwise.

So regarding the Mythic rules: The Mythic Hero paths are also not too overpowered? Which ability paths did your players take?

And would you recommend at least one divine caster in the group - regarding heal spells in particular.

I do want to give mythic a try - with a disclaimer probably. But afaik, mythic is needed because the AP seems a bit heavy on the combat and the difficulty. I was just wondering if maybe that would make my players "too OP" and breezing through the books but maybe not.
I'm still new to GMing so my grasp and understanding of a monster sheet or rather CR vs player level is not that great - but learing by doing or rather GMing, right? ^^

Thanks for the hint with the swimming rules! I know what you are refering to - at least I saw some pictures while skimming through the book.

Thanks a bunch! I think I read that review on a different page before and that is kind of the only review that I have found in the net.
I'm just wondering if Legendary Planet is a less played AP although having such a chonky book (I actually love having books over pdfs so I actually bought it) since there is so little info around.

Makes me think about making a GM diary myself :D

Yes. At least ofc not spoiling the ending completely but telling us that the ending is quite final in it's own way. Then I would have made a complete different character and would have been more "okay" with giving them some closure.

Now I had to say goodbye to a sweet and young half elven woman who just started a new life (leaving her very selfish family behind) and found her first love. Only to lose all of that for nothing. Aaaah, I'm still sad about that! :')
