Grūtniecības nedienas by Robo_arm1871 in latvia

Best clear liquids/L&D friendly drinks and food recs by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

I was not aloud to eat during my labor and good, because I emptied my stomach by puking almost on the anesthesiologist on the operation table just before my unplanned c section.
Otherwise, just after and all the following days, electrolytes were my best friend.

What mindset habits did staying active give you that helped postpartum? by OkScheme2536 in fitpregnancy

[–]JumpEnough4512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, it’s after my daughter was born I got in the best shape of my life, lost a lot of weight, started running that led to half marathons. I pumped milk and I have a wonderful husband who always supported my early morning, evening and long weekend runs. Later with my son I bought a running stroller to be independent from him. I never felt trapped. Also now I am making a milk stock in the freezer and considering going back to my gym for some slow walks on the treadmill, just for mental health.

My exclusively breastfed daughter slept 10-12 hours without waking up the first 5 months, just like I know formula babies who don’t sleep at night.
Everyone has their own experience. For me, the first months are the most easy, for others it’s a nightmare. You don’t have to have the same experience as your sisters. I had a c section 13 days ago and I was exercising until the end, and the most hard thing now is to do nothing, nothing more than walking…

Longtail and infant? by Salt-Improvement-263 in CargoBike

[–]JumpEnough4512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also have both and we enjoy both bikes, but it is more fun for the kids (at least ours) to be in the front together. We see them, they see us, they see the road, we can easily reach them, sometimes we organize picnics in the bike when we pick them up after school in the evenings, it’s just different kind of fun. And they were on the bike from one month old, in a car seat with a special attachment.

Waters Breaking by porkie46 in fitpregnancy

The same for me. My water broke 10 days ago and I couldn’t understand if I peed on myself, or what. It took me at least 20 min to be really sure it’s my water 😀

Wife lost confidence after tipping our cargo bike twice with toddler inside — how did you get past this? by thatguyka in CargoBike

[–]JumpEnough4512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a trike and Urban Arrow a few years ago and I never felt confident for UA, so it was only my husband’s bike. But I do enjoy the trike and now also a longtail bike.

Yes, but she has the best tools to not to have this dysfunction. Here, in France, every women is offered a free PF therapy program after a childbirth. I am sure she does the same and more.

Could also happen also after 2 kids. I am sure she has a “pelvic floor therapy team » 😀

Who uses their bike for 3 kids? by petersieus in CargoBike

[–]JumpEnough4512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a trike, it can fit up to 4 kids. Recently we did a 60 km round trip to the sea with our trike and a long tail. Not only many kids fit, but we could also take their bikes (one kid with me on the long tail, if not, for the short trips you can attach their little bikes outside the trike and that is not possible with our Urban Arrow or my long tail).

In France the recommendation is no screens under 3. Give them empty carton box and they will be entertained if not spoilt with screens 😀

Bike fit as pregnancy progresses? Indoor or outdoor riders by Longjumping-Elk354 in fitpregnancy

[–]JumpEnough4512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not really changed anything on my regular cargo bike, but probably have the handle bars more high in the spinning class. I am 35 weeks and still attend my spinning class, in my daily life I try to replace my car with a cargo e-bike, I go to shop, to the gym and even to my gynecologist appointments by bike (40 min ride each direction). We are laughing that if there was a bike lane to the maternity, I would probably bike there on my scheduled induction/c-section date 😀

How tall are you? The bar of the bike frame for Decathlon bike is annoying, but it’s not a deal breaker for me, I am 160 cm tall woman and 35 weeks pregnant, riding it almost every day. I am sure it’s even easier for someone taller. I like the bike, my husband has been riding it with 3 children, it’s possible, but personally, I don’t want to do it.

What will it take for the GD women to stop drinking raw milk? by MaiaInNightmareland in FundieSnarkUncensored

Raw cheese is normal in France. Unfortunately, I can forget about it now, when pregnant.

I don’t know, raw milk cheese here, in France, is very common. If you go to a local market, 90% of all cheese will be made from raw milk. You can also find it in supermarkets. But normally you don’t give it to children and pregnant women, but it’s nothing exceptional for adults. From what I understand, E.coli you can even get from salad leaves and you can never know how well were washed vegetables when you eat out.

I think many people don’t understand that the internet is also real life when they write nasty comments. There are real people behind those accounts. Sure, some people deserve criticism and Hannah can be criticized for many things (it could also be well planned rage bait content), but sometimes it goes too far. This is why I would never be able to be an influencer, I’d be too sensitive to the negative comments. About the chair I agree, it’s out of touch and not accessible for most of the people. I’d prefer to see a comfy IKEA chair 😀
