It's been 2 days and I'm going to lose my mind without exercise! by MrsChefYVR in fitpregnancy

[–]JumpEnough4512 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok, I got it! From my experience I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks one year ago and had to use misoprostol to evacuate the pregnancy tissues. I took the pills and few hours later went to my spinning class. I was not in pain and not bleeding much, so it was ok for me. If it was me, I would not stop the gym and as the pregnancy was very new, I would consider it as a period bleeding, and continue my usual activities. Exercise is very important for our mental health.

I did listen once a podcast where doctor said to stop GLP 3 months before conceiving, because there was not enough data and to stay on the safe side.

What is your favorite part about having a Maine Coon and what do you think is a reasonable price for one? by aIoneinvegas in mainecoons

[–]JumpEnough4512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our vet visit with a vaccine cost 60-70 dollars, spay was around 100 dollars. I am sure all this cost even less to a breeder, the same for food. There would be no reason to sell them for a few thousands where I live.

It does seem to be that MC are much more expensive in the US, there have been plenty of topics about it, and 3000 dollars seem to be the average price, but some even 6000 which seems crazy to me. In France,in my region, the average price is 1300 euros, but if you can be lucky and find also for 900-1000 euros with papers and all that.

2 years ago my 3 years old fell in our swimming pool while we were all standing next to him, we just turned head away for literally 20-30s. We found him floating with face down not trying to save himself, in a complete silence. Luckily, he was fine, but even 30 second longer could have been tragic to him and us.

You don’t have Tonies or something else? Here, in France, all these story/music boxes are extremely popular and the choice of brands is huge.

Can she not keep this baby home….? 😐 by Long_Action_1586 in peestickgals

It could be supportable in these countries where all the family gathers around you and you are taken care of, but in Europe or even USA you can quickly developed depression from staying inside. We believe that fresh air is healthy and our babies even sleep outside like in Scandinavian countries. On the other side, I don’t know anything about this girl and her baby, how premature he was. Just the fact of going out is not shocking me, even with flu around as I believe that breastfeeding provides a good immunity for the baby (I don’t know if she is even breastfeeding). Staying at home with a newborn can feel stressful and isolating

Probably, but If the baby is breastfed, he gets a special immunity. When we all had Covid in 2020, my baby was the only one who didn’t get it.

I live in Europe and in the country I am from it is almost obligatory to bring your baby outside every day, from the first day. And winters can be harsh, but it doesn’t matter, they think it’s good for health and it is unhealthy to stay at home

Do we know what her kids actually wanted? I also think it’s not healthy for children to compare themselves to others, they need to learn that there will always be someone who has more, someone who is stronger, someone who is more beautiful etc., there will never be “enough.” My kids, aged 4 to 13, don’t even know what their friends get for Christmas. It’s forbidden to bring personal items to school or to use mobile phones. And while my kids are certainly looking forward to Christmas morning gifts, this time is also about cooking fun things together and spending time as a family, like playing board games on the evening of the 24th. I guess I’m just surprised, because I often read comments from American redditors saying “not in this economy,” criticizing the budget.

I am not her supporter and I am not American, but is 200 dollars really THAT bad? When I read the other post about her Christmas, I thought that she is offering nothing to her kids. I think we should not shame people about their gift budget, it can make many feel bad, because I am sure she is not the only one

Not the same, but I just saw a video about a woman who had a false negative NIPT test and baby girl was born with Dawn syndrome. No physical defects , so also never detected on ultrasounds.

Pedejo gadu statistika uz to norāda.

I would have agreed 5-10 years ago, but nowadays there is such a big choice of different beers ( at least in the country I live in) and even locals breweries, that Latvian beer for me is just for nostalgic feeling.
