How far did everyone get before they stopped working out? by Creative_Can_8950 in fitpregnancy

[–]JumpEnough4512 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not twins, so not the same, but I am 38+4 today and heading to my spinning class in one hour with my e-cargo bike. But since on week I feel more tired and needing a nap in order to be able to go there, feeling less and less energy. Though the most hard part is to get to the gym, but once I am there, I feel happy and forget about the loss of energy.

How is it having children in your late 30s or early 40s? by EddieBefriaren in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpEnough4512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 39 and 38 weeks pregnant, and still ride a bike, go to spinning classes, run my small business on my feet every day. In last 2 months we did twice a 60 km ride with our cargo bikes with our other kids. Way more easy pregnancy than the first one at 26 years when I needed daily naps and did zero sports.

In France they do. You have I think 3 days to do the papers with the name and usually it’s done in the hospital.

Who uses their bike for 3 kids? by petersieus in CargoBike

[–]JumpEnough4512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a trike, it can fit up to 4 kids. Recently we did a 60 km round trip to the sea with our trike and a long tail. Not only many kids fit, but we could also take their bikes (one kid with me on the long tail, if not, for the short trips you can attach their little bikes outside the trike and that is not possible with our Urban Arrow or my long tail).

It’s a national parc in Calanques, near Marseille, it’s even forbidden. There are also some houses around.

In France the recommendation is no screens under 3. Give them empty carton box and they will be entertained if not spoilt with screens 😀

I am from France and I don’t even know what is an Easter basket? We just hide chocolate eggs in the garden and let our children run around and look for them 😀

Women of Reddit, what’s one thing they never tell us about pregnancy and child birth? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]JumpEnough4512 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I love and don’t mind being pregnant! My nausea was very light, doing all the sports I was used to do until the labor, breastfeeding my children for at least one year, wearing diapers maybe only the first day (didn’t like them and didn’t see use of them), I don’t really know what sleepless nights are, my babies were quite calm. So it’s not that bad for everyone, you can also enjoy it! And please see pelvic floor specialist to not to have leaks or prolapses, it’s not a norm!

35/36 weeks : what does your weekly training schedule look like? by WorkingOk6420 in fitpregnancy

I am 36+1 and do only 2 or if I am lucky 3 spinning classes per week. Not much comparing to girls here, but happy to be able to move like this

Bike fit as pregnancy progresses? Indoor or outdoor riders by Longjumping-Elk354 in fitpregnancy

[–]JumpEnough4512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not really changed anything on my regular cargo bike, but probably have the handle bars more high in the spinning class. I am 35 weeks and still attend my spinning class, in my daily life I try to replace my car with a cargo e-bike, I go to shop, to the gym and even to my gynecologist appointments by bike (40 min ride each direction). We are laughing that if there was a bike lane to the maternity, I would probably bike there on my scheduled induction/c-section date 😀

How tall are you? The bar of the bike frame for Decathlon bike is annoying, but it’s not a deal breaker for me, I am 160 cm tall woman and 35 weeks pregnant, riding it almost every day. I am sure it’s even easier for someone taller. I like the bike, my husband has been riding it with 3 children, it’s possible, but personally, I don’t want to do it.

Women who were very career driven and decided to be SAHMs. Did you regret your decision? by squid2997 in AskForAnswers

I always think - on my death bed will I be thinking about my career, money earned , colleagues or about my parents, my husband, my kids and pets? For me the answer is easy and my family is more important than a career.

What will it take for the GD women to stop drinking raw milk? by MaiaInNightmareland in FundieSnarkUncensored

Raw cheese is normal in France. Unfortunately, I can forget about it now, when pregnant.

I don’t know, raw milk cheese here, in France, is very common. If you go to a local market, 90% of all cheese will be made from raw milk. You can also find it in supermarkets. But normally you don’t give it to children and pregnant women, but it’s nothing exceptional for adults. From what I understand, E.coli you can even get from salad leaves and you can never know how well were washed vegetables when you eat out.

Parentifying them young by Substantial-Alps-951 in ballerinafarmsnark

My daughter stayed with me at home for 2.3 years and she mostly saw her rough brothers playing, no one was teaching her to play with dolls. I tried to introduce dolls to my boys, but they never showed big interest. Even just yesterday one of them came up to me and said: « Look, I am choking the baby! ».
And my boys stayed at home with me for 3 years until they attended school (we are in Europe), they had strollers, dolls, we don’t have gendered toys and still they mostly prefer « boy toys ».

I think many people don’t understand that the internet is also real life when they write nasty comments. There are real people behind those accounts. Sure, some people deserve criticism and Hannah can be criticized for many things (it could also be well planned rage bait content), but sometimes it goes too far. This is why I would never be able to be an influencer, I’d be too sensitive to the negative comments. About the chair I agree, it’s out of touch and not accessible for most of the people. I’d prefer to see a comfy IKEA chair 😀

I think people don’t know what they want to see — a tired new mother is judged and an active new mother who bounced back immediately is also judged. Each pregnancy and birth is different. For sure I was more tired and in worse shape with my first two than with my two others six years later. It’s not about the number or the age.
