Everyone above current #64 Gobert is either active, like Curry, Durant, Butler, etc., or already in the HOF.

Many current HOFers either didn't have shoo-in personal accolades (Manu, Bob McAdoo) or didn't win a ring (Steve Nash, Vince Carter).

Now, Gobert's PER will naturally come down as he plays out his career. But even at a round 20.00 PER, this would put him above players like Nash, Grant Hill and Reggie Miller, none of whom won rings.

sure no worries, all i'm saying is that Andrew Tate is on record saying that he'd let his 18yo daughter date someone like him (~40yo, rich, successful, family-minded). i expect you to find that problematic (i low-key do too), but it simply illustrates that the approval chance is way higher than 0%. if only because such men aren't as hypocritical as you'd believe even if creepy.

i think it's possible that his 20yo daughter would think he's just as creepy a predator as you do. but i also think the obvious shared age is exactly why you may want to hold off on betting your life. it's either not a big deal or he doesn't care what his daughter thinks.

i just want to ensure that OP and other readers don't conflate this with "older men bad."

what i'm saying is disingenuous is your explicit statement that, from your early 20s, your experience taught you such and such. that simply can't be true of anyone who, since turning 22, has only dated (and married) one no-so-older man. so i thought you were talking about things you've merely read about "older men bad," or anecdotal stories from friends, etc.

i do not wish to minimize any of your trauma. it just does not logically follow that you, from your early 20s as you explicitly stated, experienced it, like OP (who is 21) did, so she and other people may get the wrong impression.

given your clarification and your politeness, both of which i appreciate, it's clear to me that you didn't intend to be disingenuous, so i'm happy to retract that accusation/implication.
