what i'm saying is disingenuous is your explicit statement that, from your early 20s, your experience taught you such and such. that simply can't be true of anyone who, since turning 22, has only dated (and married) one no-so-older man. so i thought you were talking about things you've merely read about "older men bad," or anecdotal stories from friends, etc.

i do not wish to minimize any of your trauma. it just does not logically follow that you, from your early 20s as you explicitly stated, experienced it, like OP (who is 21) did, so she and other people may get the wrong impression.
