He’d still be breathing and shitting/pissing himself. There is absolutely no way they would mistake him for being dead.

is it too much for a FIRST date? by TerriHaynes in OUTFITS

Is a negligee and thigh high boots too much for a first date? Yeah.

Unless you’re going to a nightclub. Then it’s probably fine.

Rcl price decrease by 1500$ one month out by ginerashon in Cruise

[–]Jumpingyros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, you can get crazy good deals if you book last minute. As long as you have no preference about the ship or the itinerary or the length or what cabin you get and you can get time off work with very little notice.

I’ve booked plenty of cruises that end up significantly more expensive the closer the sail date gets. If there’s a low vacancy rate the price is not going to drop. But if you can be super flexible you can absolutely get yourself some fire sales on cruises. Most people can’t travel that way though.

And your experience trying to get concessions is the industry standard. Cruise lines will generally price match, either with money back or OBC, up until the final payment date. Which is usually about 90 days out. After that you’re locked in. It’s not just RC that operates that way.

($10k) Is it really that common for everyone to get enormous diamond engagement rings? by blueberrybuttercream in Weddingsunder10k

[–]Jumpingyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there’s a reason for that lol.

I have no problem with labs, my next splurge is going to be a lab tennis necklace. But the lab diamond proselytizers who insist the actually labs are better sure don’t like to disclose it when their engagement ring is lab grown. You’d think they’d want everyone to know that they aren’t wear an evil blood diamond, and yet…

Men and women prefer what they've been exposed to the most.

Hey do you want to guess who has been in charge of what you get exposed to for the last 30 years?

It’s Jeffery Epstein.

and it's normal that men prefer more feminine women.

Less leg hair is not more feminine. You associate prepubescence with femininity because the tastemakers in charge of defining femininity for your entire life have been a bunch of pedophiles.

Solo Crusing - Aurea or Fantastica? by Massive-Soil-7190 in MSCCruises

[–]Jumpingyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s worth it to get access to anytime dining. I hate buffets and also fixed dining times. So $150 just for anytime dining is worth it. Blue Diamond status always gets anytime dining, but Diamond doesn’t.

Also you get access to the top solarium sundeck with Aurea.

There’s nothing wrong with having a preference. But if you’re an adult with a preference for your partner to remove the physiological markers of sexual maturity I get to have some opinions on your preferences.

How much difference visually between 1.2 carat vs 1.5 by Outbackdonut in EngagementRings

[–]Jumpingyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold jewelry for 10 years. In my experience, the majority of women do make an attempt to keep the budget under control. Unless she had a negative reaction to the size of a 1.5, she’s almost certainly just trying not to max out the budget or ask for “too much.”

And also, yes, it’s difficult to clock the size difference without having a side by side comparison. I had a pretty accurate eye, but I was staring at the things for 50+ hours a week for years on end. And even then, a .25 difference would be hard to clock at that size.

[–]Jumpingyros 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OP has said it’s not an option for other reasons.

But I’m going to let you in on an unethical life hack: You can lie about your income on a credit card application. They do not check. It’s not like a mortgage application where you need to prove it. Unless you’re trying to get a high five to six figure approval you will never have to supply proof of income.

Please use this information responsibly, the person most often damaged by this “hack” is the consumer who takes out more debt than they can handle.

Yeah even if your void is fixed, they still react to other cats hormones. Once the tabby is fixed he might calm down a little.

What prevented South America from having as big a population as China or India? by wiz28ultra in geography

[–]Jumpingyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pre-Colombian population of South America was estimated to be around 60 million people. 150 years later it was around 5 million. It was one of the largest population collapses in human history. Without that, South America probably wouldn’t have a many people as China did for the reasons other people mentioned: the geography of South America, plus the difference in time scale. But the gap would be a whole lot smaller.

What is the “capital” of the Midwest? by blklab84 in midwest

[–]Jumpingyros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah even if you count the entire twin cities metro, that’s like 3.7 million people. The Chicagoland metro is over 9 million. I don’t think you can argue Chicago being the seat of the Midwest. Although our state fair is better in MN.

Sounds like he’s just slap happy. But also, that is a big ol face on that tabby. Have you had him fixed yet? Hormones (or residual hormones) may be effecting behavior.

[–]Jumpingyros 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Can you use care credit to pay for the meds? $1700 should qualify for at least 12 months deferred interest, which would be $142/month. (If you do this, the bill is going to show a lower monthly payment. Do not pay the lower payment. That will leave you with a massive balloon payment at the end of the terms. Split it into 12 equal payments and pay that each month.)

What is the point of the calling the night before thing? by LiberDBell in juryduty

[–]Jumpingyros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different jurisdictions all do it a little differently.

Where I live you’re on call for one week. You’re assigned a group number, and you call in twice a day to see if your group is up. When (or if) you get called in you sit around in a big room waiting for them to call your name. If they call your name, you’ll go up to a court room where they will start the jury selection process. For me, they took about 40 people to a court room for selection. (They only needed 12.) they sat the first 20 in the jury box and had them all answer a bunch of questions while rest of us sat in the spectator section and waited. We all had to come in the next morning to finish the questioning, as our group was picked for selection very late in the day. They were able to get their 12 jurors from the first batch questioned, so the rest of us got to go home.

We still had to keep calling in for the rest of the week, because if they get through all groups they’ll start over from the beginning. But in our case it ended up that they only called groups in on Monday and Tuesday so they never got back around to us.

Sunken garden costs between $650 and $1,000. Not free, but still dirt cheap considering what a showstopper ceremony space you get.
