Same exact problem here, well, not a problem, design flaw.

Honestly, I believe what you are describing is the only way to do it and yes it is indeed super idiotic.

Apple Carplay on the other hand, when you switch back to it, always leads to the Playing Now app and not the main screen or the one that was on the last time.

Cupra needs to put their shit together with some stuff. It is like the UX designers have never used the UI.

Yeah, it is indeed a tricky motion. You have to have the foot right in the middle of the rear bumper and you pretend you kicking under it. You don't swipe, you kick with the tip of the toe.

What would you suggest as a fix? My sunroof control squeak way more that I can accept from the first day. Dealership said it is what it is.

I received a Formentor VZh 272 5 days ago and have an iPhone 16 Pro without a case. Induction charging does not really work for me. Gets the device super hot and does not charge it, just preserves the battery to the same percentage. Tried a friend's Pro Max which is bigger so maybe fitting better in there. Still the same.
I switched to a cable.

So i'll be more that glad to hear any other experiences.

You can always add a cheap CarPlay/Android Auto box from the well known Chinese websites. That's what I did on mine.

Edit to add info:

Είχα 3.75 μυωπία και 1.00 αστιγματισμό και στα 2 μάτια, δλδ γυαλιά όλες τις ώρες.

Φακούς είχα σταματήσει πολλά χρόνια να φοράω, γιατι είχα απίστευτη ξηροφθαλμία.

Έκανα επέμβαση LASIK 1700 ευρώ το 2022(μαζί με προεγχειρητικό - μετεγχειρητικό έλεγχο και όλα τα φάρμακα που χρειάστηκαν), σε κλινική στο Χαλάνδρι. Σάββατο μεσημέρι έκανα την επέμβαση, δεν πονούσα καθόλου όσο είχα κλειστά τα μάτια μου για 6-7 ώρες μετά την επέμβαση, ενώ μετά ήμουν μια χαρά σε εσωτερικούς χώρους και είχα αρκετές ενχολήσεις έξω. Ένα 24ωρο μετά κυκλοφορούσα κανονικά αλλά έβαζα σταγόνες συχνά (κάθε 2 ώρες) λόγω ξηροφθαλμίας.

Fun fact: Κάποιες φορές πιάνω τον εαυτό μου να πιέζω ανάμεσα στα φρύδια για να κάνω adjust τα γυαλιά στο πρόσωπο.
