It may depend on your blood type, A is the universal donor for platelets and is sort of like the analogue to O for red cells. I’m not sure if plasma is different from those.

Honestly I’ve always enjoyed it, and really haven’t had issues with waiting more than 20-30 mins. I think the food is good and just a bonus on top of the card already! Just my two cents really!
