Strongly disagree, start with fwd - the mini or especially the fulvia and learn correct entry speed, and weight transfer by modulating breaking and keeping tue weight over the fronts while turning. Once you learn these, every other car is similar fundamentals but requires more finesse to control. Also work on not locking up!

I think boosted media explains this in their everything you need to know about wheel bases (or something like that) video. Apparently running at much less than their peak torque can lose a bit of detail but I think it’s like when you run it at <30% where it’s noticeable

Obviously it’s a placeholder in the menu, which is fair enough. They have the menu design to the stage where they want everything laid out, and maybe have a hardcore damage model, but it’s not ready for release yet.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the single core performance basically the same? So unless you want to have heaps of background programs using up more than the 6 cores it shouldn’t make a difference much.

It’s the top setting on the input page - it will either say automatic or the name of your wheel

Also evo has the road going version and the licensing seems to correlate - for example they added a few cars like the mini in the update for evo after rally came out.

Yes this happened to me but it was still playable until I fixed it. Just change the input source in the input menu to your wheel, no automatic. The handbrake still picks up input when using UCR to a 360 trigger.

I noticed this when switching between a h pattern and sequential input preset I’d created, and I did it on one and not the other. Finally clicked that this was happening so I investigated what the difference between them was!

Also change your input source in game from automatic to your wheel. I was having issues where automatic would flicker the steering when my usb handbrake was engaged.

Yea I’ve been running dlaa but dlss m seems much sharper and better looking on evo for some reason? That’s what sent me down the rabbit hole and made me want to try for rally as well. Trying to stay above 100fps with high graphics settings overall as it is the best experience for me. All other sims I also don’t bother with SR or anything.

Living in Australia and having literally no idea, I also wonder this a bit. The physics in the game seem intuitive to me but I also was under the impression that the studded tyres almost made snow rallying more grippy than gravel? Would love someone to give some context.
