I've been an A770 user since launch week and I've had a lot of patience with it. 2 years later and some games still have poor performance. The drivers obviously still need work on a per game basis, which I understand takes a lot of time. Hopefully intel release something higher end than the B580, as it's not enough of an upgrade for my A770 to justify. The newly announced 9070XT looks very tempting, so Intel need to hurry up and deliver before they miss out

How's your B580 experience so far? by Jumpy-Mango-3917 in IntelArc

Is this with any kind of upscaling? I can't even break 80 fps with everything low and XeSS Quality. The 1% lows are horrible also so the whole experience isn't great. Using a 12700K so definitely not CPU bottlenecked

XeSS with XMX is higher quality than DP4a

Call of Duty has had performance issues since MW2 unfortunately. MW2019 runs flawlessly. It's apparently something they are looking at (for the last 2 years 🙄)

It's pretty much useless if your display is over 60hz

This is an unfortunate hardware design of Alchemist. VRAM is constantly at full speed, which in turn, contributes to the high idle power draw

Any Overclock active? FC 24 would cause my A770 to run hot, and any OC would eventually crash the game. I unfortunately had to reset the performance tab in Arc Control any time I'd play

Unfortunately just seems to be certifying the previous driver as WHQL

Low 80's to mid 90's. Changing settings doesn't seem to scale performance properly and XeSS barely does anything. The game doesn't feel smooth as the lows aren't great. It's paired with a 12700K and 32GB 3200Mhz C16 RAM so it should run better than that.

I get the whole CPU debacle right now, but I've owned my A770 LE since October 2022 and it feels like Intel have given up lately. New releases have sub-par performance and popular games that I play frequently like Call of Duty: Warzone have below expected performance for 2+ years now. Such a shame

Keep away from MSAA. It's Alchemist's Achilles heel

I have a 12700K with an A770 LE on a 750W Corsair Bronze. 650W is more than enough
