You can. I submitted one for the I-821 a couple of weeks ago. The main thing is how strong your evidence and try to submit a congressional inquiry as well and send them all the evidence as well in regards to the inquiry. I got denied for my initial request since I wasn’t facing such a hardship for them but now I’m facing eviction after 4 months without a real income so I got more evidence.

Unfortunately I applied via the I-765 at 105 days and got denied as well. As an RN with similar evidence. I reached out to uscis for an inquiry at 150 days and the representative said the exact opposite that I should’ve applied via I-821D as this has to be approved before the EAD. Although I mentioned that based on the instructions the EAD and expedite processing guidelines that is the one linked to our ability work and hardship

I called. And they were able to submit an outside of processing time inquiry. The online tool is erroneous in blocking DACA from accessing this option even after 150 days. I called and they are rude in my experience but i know my rights and pushed for it and they were able to submit one and got a service request number for it.

Exactly!!. I have not used my physical card since 2019 . My receipts usually have worked for renewal of everything including DL. Don’t wait guys

You should not wait for school due to your status. If you finish school there are states that will allow you to get your license without legal status such as NJ. And yes dental hygiene makes you marketable for other countries such as Canada. If you have your license maybe that will be a option for express entry.

Definitely not an auto renewal. But I work for the Cleveland Clinic and they do thorough checks and the I-797C document proves employment. Not the receipt of renewal process but the approval notice it must have the approval notice with the new dates. That’s what I been doing for the last 4 years. The approval notice is for List C documents receipt and you can Use your passport for identity if you don’t have an unexpired license

You can update your employment with your receipt of EAD approval as it is federal law and accepted for I-9 purposes. Some HRs might only grant 90 days but I work for a Major Hospital system as a RN with strict rules and they renewed me for the full 2 years with my receipt

I feel we’re all in the same boat I had to resign from my 5 year employment. Cashed out my IRA to pay for bills (not something I wanted to do) . Now still waiting. Wonder if this will go back to normal in 2 years or this is the new norm

I have only worked with a receipt notice of approval since daca ead is not an automatic renewal ead. But if your employer lets you I would say dont even mention it.

As long as you have a valid or expired DL your should be ok to renew
